how long do ur works usually take? fave/least fave part of the process?

hmmmm….. i think it can be anywhere from 1-2 days to small bursts across 2 weeks if im committed to the piece. if the piece makes me crash out and i make the executive decision to start over, it can unfortunately take me a month (kind of rare though) idk. my mind works funny. i rmb taking under a day for a viktor arcane drawing bcos the hyperfixation completely seized me

as for least fave part… idk probably sketching. like i know i need to do this bcos of how integral it is to have everything planned out, compositionally and for poses, but sometimes i feel impatient and just want to start blocking out the colors LMAO like in my mind i will just find it easier to map things out by laying blobs of color but it doesnt always work out like that 🥀

Heya!!!!!!! I absolutely adore your art style!!! My question is did you go to art school, and what do you credit for helping you develop your unique art style? (Specific class, professor, other artist inspo, divine/demonic ritual, etc.)

hi, no worries about that at all!! and thank you so much :) hmmm while artists were definitely a huge influence, i think the media that i've been into throughout my life also really informed the kind of stuff i wanted to convey or express in my art, which ends up bleeding into my style.

things like majora's mask and ib were really informative to how i navigated 'horror' elements. i am actually pretty weak with horror LOL but the underlying, creepy atmosphere ib has and majora's mask overall narrative– visually and gameplay wise– without being overtly scary was very impactful to me. honestly majora's mask is so high up there as an artistic influence lmao other pieces of media that have been pretty influential to me are botw and the greater legend of zelda lore, shadow of the colossus, tarot card designs, pandora hearts, the old timm-dini DCAU look lol

As a person with acne, this helps my self-image: studying the faces of people who have it, and realizing they are still beautiful even though their skin has imperfections.
