Music video for track by Sissi Rada put together by schnellebuntebilder uses Kinect 3D video captures and creatively combines point cloud data with particle physics:

After half a year of work from the first shoot to the last renderings we now finally can present our new piece for the great SISSI RADA. It has all what a good music-clip should have: Donuts, cars, kids on bikes, a harp, a giant foot, a miniature drum set and skateboard-stunts. And of course a black cat.

Shot completely with the Microsoft Kinect 2, edited and programmed in VVVV, developed a pipeline between Cinema4D and VVVV and finalized everything in After Effects.

“These pieces are pretty transparent,” he told me. “You can actually engage them without any apprehension.” His hope is that “East-West/West-East” will become a landmark. He said that “7” had become a “destination” for residents of Doha on weekend walks, and he doesn’t see why his new work in the desert would be different.
