This is my partner, who is still embarking on their gender journey. They are a very talented black artist, UI/UX designer, crocheter, and many other things. My partner and I are in dire need of your help. They are injured and cannot return to work, and I was able to try to make ends meet by working very hard. However, now our only means of transportation is gone. The battery died while I was driving and it’s got many other issues it seems. It is probably going to cost in the thousands to get it fixed. Hi, all. Thanks so much for all the help so far, we greatly appreciate it! I apologize for being so silent recently. My grandmother passed away recently and so I’ve been grieving on top of this stress. Good news is… We managed to get the rent down to $520.56! It’s already late though, so it will be going up every day it’s not paid. Please, if you can, help us pay the rest and hopefully afford to get the car fixed so we can go back to work by donating!
With the late fees, the rent has risen to $582.56. My girlfriend and I have been doing all we can to try and improve this situation. I have just replied to an email from a hiring manager about a job at a gas station within walking distance, however, it is not a guarantee and there is no telling how long it will take for them to respond so I can start working. We are both so very stressed. I do understand that everyone is also dealing with financial issues of their own right now. Unfortunately that is the status of the world we live in. We do appreciate all that have shared and donated. I would at least like to get the rest of this month’s rent payed and then worry about the next. Please consider helping us achieve that if possible. I meant to update this a while ago but things have been hectic. Thanks to everyone who has helped us out so far! We greatly and sincerely appreciate it! Your kind donations have allowed us to be able to get food and keep a roof over our heads. The car is no longer in the tow lot, thankfully. It is, however, still useless. It is sitting in the parking lot while we remain unemployed and worried for our future. Our lease will be up soon if we can’t get it renewed and we don’t have anywhere else to go. The only way that we will be allowed to renew is if we can get the rent down to below $200. It is currently at $1867.25. We have until December 31st. Please help us out if you are able to! We know it’s close to the holidays, so it’s understandable if that is not possible at this time. But anything you can do will help us out tremendously. Thanks again and happy holidays.

So we finally got the car back! Plus I just got a job at FedEx as a delivery driver and my gf got one of their previous jobs back so that’s good news! We have been staying at hotels, we stayed in one for a week, and now we’re in this one until the beginning of March. Though we are going to be finally getting some income, we still need assistance as we need to save money and we don’t necessarily have a place to call home yet. All the money that my partner was able to receive from unemployment was spent on necessities like groceries and paying for hotels. I understand that there is so much going on right now, but if you’re able to help us out at all, it’d be greatly appreciated.
