One thing I really love is that all of the people who ensured the survival of Winterfell and the North were Starks. It was a Stark from Winterfell that was the driving force in the fight for Northern Independence. It was a Stark from Winterfell that warned everybody about the threat of the white walkers. It was a Stark from Winterfell that lured the Night King into a trap. It was also a Stark from Winterfell that put an end to the army of the dead. The sons and daughters of Winterfell all risked their lives to save their castle and their kingdom, and they all did in their own ways.

let me talk briefly about two tiny moments that absolutely make me want to cry forever

first of all, THIS GEM

there is just so much to unpack, how they just gravitate towards one another, they can barely stop kissing in order to undress each other, and the way Gendry just tries to be as close as possible, and that forehead touch, it KILLS me

another moment is obviously them just being a smiling and giggling mess

it was a brief moment, but it honestly makes the scene so much better, because it’s all there - the happiness, giddiness, a kind of “it’s us, this is really happening” moment as they’re fumbling and rushing just to feel each other

don’t mind me, I’m just gonna cry myself to sleep
