Found this while looking through my old csp wips, it was Timekeeper/Titan/Original Breeze sitting at her shrine, about to face her predestined death at the hands of her timeline's Shao Kahn
Ocreia had ruled her timeline as a reverse dictator. Violence was strictly prohibited, and she believed that by enforcing peace and harmony she would be able to preserve her people, the Mauqu. The Mauqu did prosper, and they quickly became one of Outworld's majority groups, but not everyone was on board with Ocreia's style of rule.
In this timeline, Kombat never existed. It got to the point meat eating was also prohibited, and soon an uprising began. Shao had rallied and united all of Outworld against Ocreia, and thus the Mauqu genocide happened. Powerless to stop Shao, Ocreia could only watch as her people laid slain on the steps of her shrine, as Shao raised his bloodied axe and stared her down one final time, before bringing it down and beheading the Goddess.
Before she died however, Ocreia had learned something. She didn't want to acknowledge it, but she knew she needed a plan for when the Mauqu are inevitably slaughtered once more. To preserve her own soul even when her physical body is long decayed and gone, Ocreia learned to separate her soul onto a plane between life and death, and because of this loophole her timeline managed to stay intact despite her death.
Now, she will never be able to interact with the physical world ever again, but she can still use her healing magic to heal others in other timelines, having now abandoned her own after it fell to Shao's rule.
And this event leads to her tracking Lord Havik to Liu Kang's timeline...
