âIt's okay to cry in front of me, you know. You do not have to carry this alone.â
âI donât cry.â Yasuo states simply, shrugging his shoulders. Heâs been woken up by a nightmare, the same nightmare heâd been having for years now. His brother... His master... They both commonly show up in his dreams from time to time, either to speak with him, to chastise him, or something more sinister that evolves from the deep guilt and sorrow he feels from those events.
So, Yasuo awakens from his sleep quite frequently, restless, bothered by his dreams. And though heâs upset, he wonât cry. That part of him had been sealed long ago. Thereâs no more tears left to fall, and so heâs a husk of a man, unable to physically react to such negativity. But he will opt to lean on the woman beside him, shakiness immediately calming upon contact.
âBut I appreciate the support. Itâs nice to not have lonely, sleepless nights anymore. Maybe new thoughts will overtake the nightmares in due time, hmm? Pleasant ones.â
