Doppelganger of Wind

Hey everyone! Name's Beige! Oh, I should probably tell you guys i'm Black's doppelganger, you know, the Pokemon Trainer from Unova? Yeah, that's him. I've got two pokemon, Denki the Samurott and War the Braviary! They're some of my best buds since being reset! I also have a Minun named Sparky I got from Gem, a-as well as a magnemite o got from a competition! His name's Coi! M!A status: none

Pear followed after the others, looking around the room, watching some of the other pokemon practice as the instructor demonstrated. “So we just have our pokemon copy them? It doesn’t look too hard…”

"I believe so…" Cyan trailed, looking at Beige and Peridot. She thought about ushering Jeongi to join the dance group at the time, but she didn’t want to be the first person to do it, so she waited for either one of the two to start.

Beige looked at the other pokemon practicing, standing a little awkwardly quiet before noticing Coi had already helped himself, the pokemon already off and dancing along to the instructor's moves. 

"Ah....it's way too excited for it's own good.."  he mumbled, rubbing his neck and giving a half-hearted chuckle before looking down to the other pokemon. "Are you two gonna go practice too..?"

Pear nodded, somewhat to himself, holding up a black and red masquerade mask to his pokemon. Tsuki had found a small coat as well, and was fumbling around in attempts to put it on by himself as Pear tried not to snicker.

"Looks like we’re almost finished." He looked over to his friends curiously after helping Tsuki. “So, should we practice a bit before the show starts?"

Cyan walked over to Jeongi, kneeling down eye level and asking him if he approved of the suit. Jeongi nodded, extending his arms so Cyan could put the suit on. Cyan followed through, adding some fancy dress shoes to his feet. The girl turned to see a shelf with a top had. She pondered if it would look good on Jeongi, trying to imaging the image. Jeongi nodded to the idea, waddling over to grab the hat hiself, adjusting it onto his head. Cyan scoffed a laugh, smiling and patting the top of the hat lightly.

"I think that’s a good idea, Peridot. Where do we practice though?" She replied to Pear’s comment.

Beige was still looking over items to put on Coi, not really finding much other than a hat, and that would only stay on if Coi didn’t jump around a lot ( which he would anyway), so Beige was thinking hard about it, he didn’t really pay much attention to  the others till Cyan asked where they’d practice.  He looked back over to the two. 

"Wouldn’t they have some sort of practice room with an instructor or something?" He asked, not entirely sure.

Pear finished up the last of Tsuki’s outfit with a few accessories before standing up, turning back to the others. “I think it’s just the next room over, once we’re done we could head over there. I think someone will help with the basic steps, at least."

"Okay, sounds good then." Cyan replied. She began walking towards the door, Jeongi trailing along closely. She walked out the door, turning around and waiting for Beige and Peridot to follow.

Beige sort of gave up attempting to find something else to dress Coi in, following after Cyan. 

"I hope Coi does well up there.."

"Well, that’s one of the fun parts of raising pokemon, isn’t it?" Pear smiled back, before being prodded at by Tsuki, who was also seeming to be talking to the other two pokemon. He dug through more clothes, watching the weavile’s reactions to them with slight amusement. 

"So, how are you two coming? I wonder if they have certain things for certain types…"

Cyan looked around the clothes, trying to find a style that fits Jeongi. “Can’t really find anything so far, Peridot…" She replied back. Soon, something sparked her eye as she noticed a fancy suit nearby. It was black and yellow, but not an ugly bumblebee design. She walked over to it and picked it up, aiming it at Jeongi from a distance to see how he’d look…

"Nevermind… I think I found something." Cyan said, smiling.

Beige was completely clueless on what to dress his pokemon in, and was surprised when his pokemon broke off from the other two to whiz over to Beige with a cape of sorts on his head. Beige smiled a bit. 

"Yes... I think this will do nicely..." He said, tucking the corners where shoulders were supposed to go along the magnets on either side of his pokemon, clasping it closed in the front. 

"Eh.... it's not too bad. Do you like it, Coi?" He asked his pokemon, who gave an excited whir of approval before floating back off to the other pokemon to show off. Beige turned to his friends with a proud smile, seeming to have been the first of the three to dress his pokemon.

"Right, we’re coming." Pear nodded, slightly startled by Beige, before letting Tsukizan out and following his brother and Coi. The weavile was already shifting through the different outfits as Pear watched them with a smile. “You’re magnemite’s quick, isn’t he?" He tilted his head slightly, sitting next to Tsuki and attempting to help him with the different outfits.

Cyan smiled at the scene. It seemed the Pokemon we’re having a lot of fun picking clothes, so Cyan let Jeongi, her Ampharaos, out of the Pokeball to pick clothes too. The Ampharaos was let out, shaking itself. The Ampharaos waddled over to the clothes, trying to communicate with Tsukizan and Coi at the same time. Cyan smiled again and followed her Pokemon.

Beige stared blankly at the clothes, thinking about what kinds of clothes would even look good on a magnemite.  He was havign a bit of trouble with it, and he scanned the racks, not entirely sure as to what would look good. 

"Yeah... He's really hyper and doesn't like staying in his pokeball.." He broke his concentration to look at Peridot, smiling a bit. "But he's still fun to train, so it's okay."

Pear nodded, talking to the receptionist for a moment before turning back to his friends. “Okay, so we’re going to go backstage to get ready." He looked at Beige, who seemed to be getting anxious, and patted his arm in an attempt to help. “Everything’s already set up, we just have to go back and dress up our pokemon. We can practice for a bit if we get done early, too."

"Sound like a plan then!" Cyan exclaimed. She turned to comfort Beige, but it seemed Peridot had that down, so she wasn’t sure if she should do double comfort or not. Disregarding it anyways, she said, “We’ll be fine Beige. Like Peridot said, everything’s set up."

Beige's mind raced, getting more and more lost in thought and almost jumping when Peridot tapped him, nodding when the two comforted him. "...sorry, I over think things..."  His voice trailed. Coi seemed to already know where to go, as he was already making his way backstage, and Beige called after the pokemon, jogging over to it and grabbing it. 

"Bad, Coi, you gotta wait for me, too..." Beige frowned, turning back to the others. "...are we going?"

"Okay, I’ll use Tsuki, then." Pear added, fishing the weavile’s pokeball from his belt as he walked over to the counter. “So, what kind of musical do you guys think would be fun? There’s a couple different ones." He handed the pamphlet to them, thinking it over himself.

Following Peridot’s action, Cyan placed Ampharaos’ Pokeball at the counter as well.

"Ah…" She started, looking at the verbose pamphlet, “Maybe… this one?" She said, pointing at the section of the page. “It’s called… No. 2 or something?"

Beige looked up at the choices, Coi setting itself on Beige's head. 

"I'm okay with any of them, and it seems Coi's the same way.."  He wasn't quite sure what the musical was about...did the pokemon sing, too? Hm. Beige looked down, putting a hand on his chin as he thought to himself.

 But what's the point of it? Singing pokemon? They mentioned dancing.... do the pokemon get dressed, too? Do I have to supply an outfit? Oh Arceus, I don't have an outfit for Coi!  A worried expression crossed Beige's face, the more he thought, the more awkward he seemed to appear.

"Yeah, it’s a pretty big city. I’m sure you’ll find something you’ll like." Pear mused, before noticing the musical building. “It’s very colorful," He remarked, holding open the door for the other two. “So, Cyan, any idea of who you want to enter?"

Cyan entered, thanking Peridot in the process. Then she turned around to answer his question.

"Hmm…. I’m not too sure.. I guess I jumped into this idea so soon I didn’t realize who I was gonna enter." Small laugh. “I guess… Maybe my Amphraos?" She paused again, and continued, “How about you two?

Beige thought for a bit, looking a little nervous. 

"If I don't have to dance with it, i'll probably use Coi....i'm sure he'll enjoy it a lot."  He said, looking up to the Magnemite still circling around them, the pokemon giving a happy whir of approval.

Pear scratched the back of his head, thinking over what he had heard of the theater upon hearing Cyan’s question. “I thought that was an option, but I might be wrong. I know the original musicals did, though…even if we can dance up on stage, I’ll probably hang back."

He looked over at Beige, nudging his arm slightly and offering him a smile. “It’s alright, you don’t have to.  Do you want to find something to do after we finish?"

Cyan felt kind of bad for suggesting the idea, as she saw Beige a little nervous from it. We’re halfway through the idea though… So why not just go with it.

"I guess we’ll have to see, then?" She replied to Peridot’s comment, also nodding along with Peridot’s second comment indicating she agreed with him. She scanned the area, wondering which direction is towards the theater.

"I'm sure we'll find something to do afterwards...from what i've heard, this place has a lot to offer..." He thought a bit, pilling out his c-gear and bringing up a map of the town, directing the trio to where the musical was. The decorations on the building kinda threw the silverlet off, but he shook it off, waiting for the two to lead them in.

"Usually, yeah. But the theater Cyan’s talking about is a musical theater. You can watch pokemon perform or enter with your own and you can dress them up and they’ll dance on stage with you." Pear explained to Beige, before smirking at the both of them.

"So, you think we could pull off being up on stage?"

"I think we could." Cyan nodded confidently, but with a little nervousness, as she usually is. But she was definitely sure they could pull it off… Then something suddenly struck her. “Wait… Peridot? We can dance on stage with them?" She thought the Pokemon dance alone, but if she can dance with her Pokemon she would definitely be in for it.

Dancing? 

Beige was terrible at dancing. He thought for a minute, tugging nervously on a lock of hair.  "I-if you two enter, i'll probably just watch from the crowd...I'm not good at that kind of stuff." He said, feeling bad for not wanting to do it when the other two had been nice enough to bring him here for this in the first place.

"Even if you can’t remember anything, you said you wanted to start new memories, right?" Pear asked, looking up at Beige, watching Coi twirl around their heads. “I thought maybe Nimbasa would be a good place to start, seeing as that’s where we first met."

He looked over at Cyan, smiling and tilting his head slightly. “Hey, where do you want to start, Cyan? We could ride the Ferris Wheel later, too…"

"Ahh… How about the musical theater?" Cyan offered. It seemed really biased of her as she enjoys the arts and music, but she really wanted to see the performances anyways, as she never went to one in the city. “We could dress up our Pokemon to see how well they are." Maybe some memories can first be made then.

"Well, I guess that's true..." Beige thought a bit about Peridot's comment, thankful to have such a thoughtful sibling. He was curious when Cyan suggested a theater. "Theater... isn't that where you watch movies or something...?"  The boy was clueless towards what the theater actually was, so of course he wouldn't know what it really was for.

Why are we here, exactly...? Beige wondered, itching his neck softly as his two friends dragged him through the gates leading to Nimbasa City, with the excuse of reliving past memories, or at least, that's what he had heard. His Magnemite whirred around the trio happily, excited to be in a new place. 

"Guys, you know it's impossible for me to remember anything, so is there really reason for this..?"  He asked, looking from Cyan to Peridot and back, a little unsure of the whole idea. He was nervous for some reason, like he wasn't where he belonged, but nevertheless, he trailed along with the other two as they all walked.

> After a couple of days of taking care of your egg, you could see a few cracks being formed! After a few moments of cracking and strange sounds coming from the egg, a blinding, white light suddenly shined in the area, and when it disappeared, in its place appeared…

"Woah!" Beige covered his eyes at the bright flash, taking a bit of time to recover before looking over to where the egg had been resting.

A little Poochyena sat, looking up at him curiously. Beige picked up the small puppy pokemon, smilling. "Hey there bud!"  He smiled, and the pokemon barked back at him happily, wagging it's tail.

"I think i'm gonna name you.....Yen! How do ya like that, Yen?" He asked, smiling and looking down at his new teammate, the happy pokemon barking once to confirm the name. Beige dug around in his bag, withdrawing a pokeball from it, the dog pokemon putting his nose to the ball.
