Cockles Spread
I have two sets of Supernatural Tarrot cards. One is specifically for Cockles, whatever they are. I don't tell people, or open up about spirituality because it has it's kinks/ ups and downs. There is a in deference, a sense of unknowing truth in a person's perspective and sensitivity.
Personally I am sensitive, enough to feel the shifts, dream of the lost and see 1 millisecond of someone's future whereabouts. This doesn't mean I can see the future or know what I am doing, or even like it.
Back to the picture above. This is recent Cockles spread. Maybe it's wrong, maybe it's right. But here you go...
One of them has taken on the role of the strong one, the protector, the steady presence, the person who holds things together and doesnโt ask for much in return. That strength comes from love, but it also creates distance, because vulnerability has been kept tightly controlled. Between them things feel stuck. Thereโs been a sense of waiting, of holding back, of knowing something needs to shift but not knowing how to move without risking the balance of the relationship/friendship. The sacrifice has gone on too long, and itโs starting to feel unsustainable. What once felt patient now feels heavy. Underneath it all is a feeling of emotional absence, of standing beside someone yet still feeling alone. Someone in this connection feels unseen or unsupported, not because the care isnโt there, but because neither person has fully stepped into honest emotional openness. The pain isnโt loud... itโs quiet, private, and carried alone. This isnโt a connection thatโs broken or doomed. Itโs one thatโs asking for softnest For truth. For someone to step out of the role of โIโve got thisโ and risk saying, โI need you.โ The closeness they are looking for is possible, but it canโt arrive through control or silence. It comes through vulnerabilit, through letting the other person see the cracks and choosing to stand together instead of suffering separately. The message of this spread is simple and tender. The door to warmth is closer than it feels, but someone has to be brave enough to open it.
