Honey Face Mask for Acne-Prone Skin
3 teaspoons raw honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix honey and cinnamon together, and apply to your face. Leave the mask on for 10-30 minutes. The antibacterial properties of both honey and cinnamon are especially beneficial for acne-prone skin. (Cinnamon can occasionally be irritating if your skin is really sensitive, so you might want to do a patch test on the back of your hand first.)

Baby, It's Cold Outside
I don't know about you guys, but it's starting to get pretty frigid outside where I am. Cold weather sometimes causes dry, itchy skin that regular lotion can't handle. This is where I am swoop in and leave a few handy Diys.
Treat Your Dry Face
Avocado Face mask, It's filled with oils which is why it's great for dry skin, but is also quite high in calories.
Ingredients:
½ very ripe, soft avocado
¼ cup honey
Directions:
Mash the avocado in a bowl, then stir in honey. Apply to skin and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse face with a cool washcloth.
Treat Your Dry Hands
Apply olive oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, and/or shea butter to your hands.
Treat Your Dry Feet
Place powdered milk in a large bowl of warm water and soak your feet in for 15 minutes.
Before going to bed apply vegetable oil, olive oil or vaseline to your feet and put on thick cotton sock. Repeat for several nights.
Treat Your Dry Body
Grind 1 cup of uncooked oats into a fine powder with a food processor or a coffee grinder. Add the oatmeal to the bath while the water is running then soak yourself and relax ..
Diy Oatmeal and Honey Face Mask
Oatmeal soothes your skin while honey is a perfect antibacterial. Adding Lemon will tone and clear your skin up.
Warning: This CAN get messy so make sure to do this in a bathroom. When you have the mask on, make sure to have a towel draped over your chest so when it drips, it doesn't get all over the place.
Ingredients:
Honey (3 table spoons) Oatmeal (2 table spoons; grind the oatmeal up for easy application) Lemons (one table spoon of fresh lemon juice OPTIONAL)
Mix all the ingredients together
Make sure it's not watery. Add more oatmeal to make it less watery and add more honey if it's too dry.
Add extra lemon if you want that extra boost, but if you have any open scars or a lot of acne currently on your face it may sting
Apply to your face and leave it on for about 15 minutes then wash off with warm water!
STEP ONE: Pick your flavor using this guide (or mix a couple to find your perfect hue):
Cherry = orange red
Tropical Punch = bright red
Peach Mango = peach
Pink Lemonade = Barbie pink
Strawberry Kiwi = light red
Grape = purple
I poured it into a little bowl but you can merely use the packet as your container!
STEP TWO: Dampen your finger (our lovely model Carissa licked hers but I don’t want to sound unprofessional, lol!). Press your finger in the powder to pick up one coat.
STEP THREE: Rub your finger all over your lips. Try not to eat it immediately like we did; it is sooo hard because it’s so good!
STEP FOUR: Dampen a Q-tip to go back over it and smooth out any clumps or uneven edges.

Banana Hair Mask
1. Get a banana and mash it up in a bowl. (make sure there's no pieces or it will get stuck in your hair) Add 1-2 tablespoons of honey. You can also add a few drops of almond or vanilla extract.
2. Slather the banana mash through your hair (especially on the tips of your hair)
3. Leave it on your hair for about fifteen minutes.
4. Rinse out with warm water.
5. All done! Yes, it's that simple.
DIY Lip Scrub
To obtain those luscious lipstick ready lips, you can't go wrong with lip scrubs and a good lip balm.
1/2 tsp. Olive Oil
2 tbsp. Sugar (I prefer white, it’s grainier)
1 tsp. Honey
a dime size amount of lipstick (if you want it to be tinted)
Then mix the ingredients and you're ready to apply it. Slowly massage for 30-60 seconds. Afterwards remove with a damp paper towel. To seal the deal, apply your favorite lip balm.

6 Must-Know Tips for Taking Care of Long Hair
1. Lay Off the Hot Tools
With lots of beautiful hair, it can be tempting to style it daily. But all that will do is fry your ends and damage your hair. If you really want to keep it long and healthy, lay off the hot tools a bit. Try and use a curling iron or flat iron every other day at most and always use a thermal heat protecting spray prior to hot tool use.
2. Don’t Forget to Deep Condition
Don’t just condition those ends, use an all over deep overnight or leave-in deep conditioning treatment weekly. It’s a great way to help repair hair and soften locks.
3. Try a Monthly Hair Mask
Use a hair mask once a month, especially if your hair is color-treated or you’re out in the sun a lot this summer. You can also book an appointment at your salon for a professional treatment.
4. Get Regular Trims
With long lengths, it can be tempting to skip out on regular hair trims. After all, the purpose of growing it out wasn’t exactly to cut it! But regular trims will keep your ends nice and healthy, so be sure to pop in and see your stylist at least every 6 to 8 weeks.
5. Take Those Vitamins
Want your hair to grow long even faster? Try an over-the-counter vitamin like Biotin, which is touted to spur hair and nail growth.
6. Skip the Daily Shampoo
Did you know that using shampoo on a daily basis can actually dry out your hair? Forgo the daily shampoo and instead, wash your hair every other day, or every two days if you can. If you notice your roots get oily in between, use a dry shampoo like Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo Spray.
Hair Care
Hair tends to snap easily when it's wet, apply a drop or two to the ends of your hair before combing out the knots and don't forget to start from the bottom.
Change your part, If you part your hair in the same place constantly it can actually get wider due to the stress and constant pulling.
Don't towel dry your hair, instead replace your hair towel with a T-shirt and gently squeeze your hair dry. The towel can tear the hair cuticles.

Favorite Foundation and Concealer
1. MAC Studio fix liquid foundation is heavy coverage and leaves off a dewy finish.
2. When I don't want the dewy/oily look I brush on the Too Faced powder foundation and it lasts not all day, but for a reasonable amount of time.
3. Before I add any foundation and after I add face primer, I appy Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer to under my eyes and acne scars. This by far is my favorite concealer. It covers so well and lasts for a long time
Naked 3. It’s not a myth.
need to add this to my collection
I've been searching lately for a way to get my natural curls to look more defined and nothing seemed to really help. Just recently I've found out about Herstyler Baby Curls Curler, it seems to be the perfect hot tool that creates a natural curl without all the extra frizz. I've just ordered it on Amazon for $23 when it's usually about $90. What a bargain.
