Fairy Tale AU

Anna Milton was an art student, living with her grandparents over the summer in their cottage out in the woods. Starving for inspiration, she often found herself wandering in the trees, searching for something, anything, to paint. 

What she found was something she never expected to see in her life, something that she didn’t even believe in: a beautiful girl with beautiful, translucent wings protruding from her shoulder blades. An honest, real life, barefoot fairy living practically in her backyard. Her name was Hael, and she was, well, beautiful. 

That summer, Anna learned many things. She learned that nothing was as it simple as it seemed. She learned that magic was real, and that beauty could come from where you least expect it. But most importantly, she learned what love was.
