What's funny is, to put it briefly, when I was watching Naruto in the beginning I shipped both Sasu/Saku and NaruSaku, as the series progressed and ended I only shipped NaruSaku and really disliked Sasu/Saku, but I still had a soft spot for it sometimes since I shipped it first, and I hated N/H more than S/S but now I'm starting to hate S/S more and everytime I see something S/S related I hate it more. I just needed to say this, the Sasu/Saku pairing is a mess
Anon, youre actually wrong. Sasu/Saku isnt a mess. Its a HOT ASS mess. If I had to pick between Naru/Hina and Sasu/Saku, I'd pick the lesser of the two evils and pick the former. At least it had so little development that there barely were any negative moments.
I can understand shipping SS at the beginning of the series, because I'm a person who gives credit where credit is due. But then Part 2 came along... And poof! Any reason for holding a neutral perspective towards it. Gone. Sasuke almost kills Sakura multiple times, and actually does in a genjutsu. Nearly drops her in a sea of lava and if Kakashi wasnt there wouldve killed her.What the actual fuck?

I mean, how can someone say that with a straight face? In terms of romance, they're at their worst with each other. At least, Sakura is. Shipping S/S is almost like being anti Sakura. Kishimoto had one job: keep them away from each other. But he failed at that.
Whenever you have time you should watch a video called "NARUTO-ナルト-疾風伝 cosplay produced by JYsenior club" this is random, but it's a cool cosplay vid covering the Naruto arcs, it's 19 mins long and the vid is kinda low quality but the part that made me melt is the end of the video (last 3 mins), with the Naruto and Sakura cosplayers being SUPER cute together, it made my day (plus it's some nice cosplay)

Sasuke and Sakura need to stay far away from each other romantically. Platonically is ok, but in terms of their romantic relationship, their characters are at their lowest.
So you're saying there are people who say that NaruSaku is abusive because Naruto UNCONSCIOUSLY hurt Sakura. It’s really that?
I've heard the argument before, and I've seen the panels used against NaruSaku. Some people are willing to grasp at straws, no matter what. Just like people use Sakura hitting Naruto as proof of abuse, even though it's comic relief, not to mention the anime really exaggerates the gag. Sakura hits Naruto a few times in the manga, but never the amount in the anime. So yeah people are that desperate.
If the fact still stands that Orochimaru is still not dead/behind bars, what’s stopping me from believing that if Danzo and Obito were still alive, Naruto would let them off the hook, too? After all, the former only ruined Naruto’s best friend Sasuke’s entire life and the latter was The Coolest Guy!™ (despite participating in causing the death of Naruto’s parent and many others) :)

Before I start i just want to remind everyone that the location this takes place in is called Tenchi Bridge, which means “Heaven and Earth” Bridge. Also, Naruto has been compared to Earth, and Sakura has been compared to Heaven, and whoever has both can overcome any obstacle. So essentially they’re already the power couple :)
People usually call it the Tenchi Bridge arc or something, so it may sound more familiar like that but just in case.

Orochimaru, being the little shit he is, pisses off Naruto by talking about Sasuke. Eventually, Naruto turns into this version of the Kyuubi form:
He causes a lot of destruction, and Sakura watches in horror. But, Kabuto’s words, as well as fond memories trigger a strong feeling or “powerful emotion” inside of her.
She’s then moved to tears and charges in, but Naruto doesn’t recognize her and see her as a threat, so he hits her
That’s basically what I was talking about, but the worst part about NS not being canon is that this scene right here:
Holds soooo many implications and has so much potential to branch out, but is never addressed again. Yamato used to be Anbu, who are supposed to be extremely observant about things, so his opinions on what he sees can be trust worthy.
It’s kind of obvious of seeing what he was going’s to say along the lines, but some of these people against NS need to be spoon fed and don’t understand context clues or hints, so they dismiss scenes like these.
But yeah, that’s what i fucking hate about arguments like the ones I was talking about in my original post. The fact that people are so desperate that they need to use an example of someone who doesn’t even have their own concious thoughts in control makes me mad.
There’s an example in Bleach concerning this. Ichigo’s Hollow form causes Orihime to hit the ground on her face. People use the same exact argument.
Although the circumstances and context are entirely different, the basic structure is a bit similar. Guy’s inner demon comes out against superior foe, guy is NOT IN CONCIOUS MIND, his inner demon is in full control now, it isn’t the Guy anymore. Guys’s inner demon form hurts girl in some way.
Antis eat that shit up and use it as ammo against the ship with Guy and Girl. It isn’t good ammo at all.
I know I’ve never said it, but I ship IchiHime as well as NaruSaku, so seeing argument twice over was expected. In a sense, I got used to it. Didn’t make me any less sick though.
The fact that people use the argument that NaruSaku is abusive because of the Four tails incident astounds me. Like, bruh, how desperate can these people get?
