Hello everyone! Welcome to The Winter Soldier’s Official Blog! This is a roleplay blog. Below, I will outline information and what this is all about, plus a part on myself. I am currently following all marvel roleplay blogs I see!
INFORMATION
This is an unspecified earth, and this blog does not adhere to canon. This is my own AU I’m sinking my fingers into and I will treat it as such.
Bucky Barnes and the Winter Soldier are not the same person. In this AU, they have Dissociative Identity Disorder, and therefore share a body but this blog is primarily focused on Winter himself.
(Mostly) everybody lives and nobody dies. I know, this causes frustrating plot holes, but I don’t have the heart to make Steve go back in time or kill off Tony. Let’s cover this hole with leaves and hope nobody falls in, okay?
He’s here, he’s queer. That’s right! He’s queer! His pronouns are he/it.
Name changes! We love ‘em. Winter goes by Winter and James, and will not respond to Bucky. Don’t call him that, he won’t answer.
RULES
Anybody can interact. I’m not going to go onto your blog and dictate if you can or can’t interact or follow this blog, but please be a civil person.
Don’t say hate speech or slurs. If you can’t formulate a sentence without saying a slur or saying something offensive, this isn’t the blog for you.
Don’t say his code words. I’m sure most blogs won’t mind, but this one does. I will block you, no questions asked, if you send them. They affect me personally (which I will expand on below.)

And now we’re on to us! Our name is Stark, our pronouns are he/xir, and we are a PF CDID System. We are bodily a minor, so please respect that.
We have a Winter Soldier introject, and he had the idea of this blog. He doesn’t like seeing his code words, and I expect you to respect that and listen to the very few rules.

since you’re now out of that horrible place and as such have the freedom of choice, do you have anything you like doing? hobbies, people to hang out with, food, etc?
Winter nods at you.
“I do. I quite like to read, and I enjoy spending time with Sam.” Pause. “I have been trying to reconnect with Tony, but after what I did, I understand why he is not interested.”
did/does your hair ever get stuck in your mask or eyewear? my hair constantly finds a way to wrap itself around my glasses or slip into my mask (when I wear one)

Winter moves his hand up to fix his mask.
“Yes. My hair does sometimes get stuck in both. I have to tug it out whenever it does, but I don’t mind now.”
“Evilness is within all of us.” Winter looked back towards her. “I don’t think so. We get used to it. It becomes normal. Expected? I think that’s the word.”
He seemed to have more of a struggle using English than Bucky does.
“ Normal. It was anything but normal and yet the normal I have now is . . uncanny , it doesn’t feel real . ”
She didn’t look him the eyes , she wasn’t sure if she could . She wasn’t afraid of him , just ashamed .
“ I don’t miss the people . Or the structure , or the terror . I miss the purpose it gave me . At least there people knew what to do with me , nowadays , I’m not sure what’s going to happen . ”
Winter listened as best as it could. It wasn’t much a talker, so this amount of using his voice was starting to make his throat feel weird.
“I’m not sure I could. Fully relate. Yet, I think I understand.” Pause. “It feels weird having so much time to myself. When I am in control, I expect to be ordered. I expect command. But I never get it, because others don’t want to tell me what to do, in fear of seeming controlling.”
His sentences were janky in parts, mashing together in his own way that made sense to him.
She didn’t know what she was looking for , understanding , or just to rant . Her eyes blinked towards the floor . She understood everything he was saying , but couldn’t reciprocate the feeling .
“ Yeah , it’s like I have no identity outside of my handler . Others are so eager to help me find it but they just don’t know where to start . ”
Silence . That was it . She didn’t have anything to say after that .
She sat there , unable to actually say anything for a little bit . She wasn’t sure what to say , she didn’t know how to combat what she had just said .
“ I don’t want an identity . It’s too hard to obtain . You think that’s ok ? ”
She wasn’t actually sure why she was asking him off all people if it was ok . She didn’t even know if she was asking him at all . They both probably couldn’t have given good answers .
Winter sat in silence with her, looking down at his lap now. His googles were still in his hands.
He looked up once she started talking, indicating he was fully listening to her. “I… Think what ever you want to do is okay. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong thing when you are realizing who you are.”
