smth i love abt rereading the books after knowing like who everyone is working with is thinking abt the character interactions that you would never have assumed to have any sort of interpersonal relationship

like when sophie was put on trial for the first time cause she brought those exploding stars at school do you think forkle who was there as her mentor was mentally screaming at oralie "you better lie abt the reading even if shes not telling the truth ora this is not the time for you to pretend to have morals"

How much emotion did Oralie show at Sophie's planting. Like it would definitely be a little odd for this random councillor to be sobbing over this random girl that she probably talked to three times total. But for her, that's her daughter and she never got to be her mother. Like that's a whole other pain. So how much emotion did Oralie hide? Did she just let it out or did she wait until after? Did Kenric comfort her?

this season was so well written, god. there is so much to say but a few things that stood out to me: The relationships are so well thought out, genuine and make sense, especially within a fandom context which is not usually the case for TV shows. Sammy and Yas slowly coming back together. Ben prioritising Bumpy over himself. I like that they seemed to understand that a lot of the fandom wasn't able to connect with Gia in the same way that we have with other characters and relationships and managed to keep her in the story without her overshadowing the relationships between Ben and the rest of the Nublar Six. The way that Kenji, Darius and Brooklyn all maneuvered around the love triangle allegations and not relegating it to an obligatory b plot.

I'm so glad that Kenji and Yas had the most interaction with Ben. Yas and Ben are my favourite duo and Im so glad they acknowledge the canon relationship between the two, how they have always been there for each other from the beginning. Kenji and Ben have a complex relationship (for so many reasons) and Im glad that had Kenji play a major role in specifically Ben's storyline. Everyone else had their turns but Kenji and Yas have always been (in my opinion) Ben's most important human relationships and both of them vital to his development as a character through both shows.
