Working on app UI for a freelance project while listening/watching the last episode of an amazing Brazilian RPG.
After 7 hours of freelance work I took some time to exercise, it's been a while since the last time I did that. Just dance 2021 and upper body workout all the way~

I made a lot of mistakes on the first boards, then took feedback and improved my character shapes and developed more ideas, focusing on exploring a lot of different things instead of focusing on one idea in special.

Well, Twilight is not exactly related to Art or Design, is it? xD But still it helped me a lot, I'll tell you why.
I've lost the habit to read on a daily basis after college, being forced to read boring and heavy articles and books out of my interest zone made me run away from any type of reading outside classes (aside from manga and comics that I often read on the bus or subway on my way to college or work).
My family always said that I was a book worm, all my childhood I was reading piles after piles of books (part of that is due to the fact I didn't have much friends in elementary school, and well, I HAD a lot of bullies, so I hid on the library all the time) but well, after graduating in 2020 (yeah, that year...) I didn't touch a book at all, the trauma my graduation thesis made on my brain had me running away from any book for months.
That's when those silly teenager books came in. I needed something silly, I needed something so I could breathe. And it worked! After finishing Midnight Sun I instantly began reading Life and Death, then Steal Like an Artist came in and BOOM, life changed, I'm back at reading on a daily basis and it all started with, wait for it, Twilight Books.
Well, thanks for reading my silly little post, If I have an advice for you it is: Read. Just read. Read anything. It'll help you a lot on the long run.
Heyo! I’ve started the #dailylogochallenge and it’s been awesome so far. This is the first day, the prompt was a rocketship logo for a company named ‘Aerolite’ During the process I’ve realized that I didn’t knew much about grids and how to develop a logo around them, this is why I forced myself to study more about it and apply the concept to this first day of the challenge. If you’re interested in learning more about it I highly recommend this article, I’ve learned a lot reading it.
Rebloging the first day of the challenge to remind myself where I`ve started
Working at this logo was... strange. I have stopped the challenge a month ago, so I`m not practicing everyday like before. Result: I`ve spent way more time on this that I`ve should, and I`m not 100% satisfied with it, but well, finished not perfect isn`t it? I have more stuff to study and more logos to create, this is just another one. It`s a pointy logo because of the radical sport that ski is, and it`s viable both upside and upside down, to remind the format of both a stalactite and an icy mountain. And that`s it! Have some sketches of the initial ideas together with experimentations on Illustrator, followed by the results and mockups.

Fourth day of #dailylogochallenge!
Today’s prompt was a Single letter logo... And it was such a good challenge. I’m used to create symbols for logo design, so thinking about a single letter was super hard. In the end I created this logo for the company ‘Magenta’. Basically I focused on the idea of magenta in CMYK since it’s an editorial company, so I used cyan and yellow on the logo as well, and black in some backgrounds (CMYK = Cyan I Magenta I Yellow I Black).

The prompt was a panda logo for the company ‘Bamboo’. I really loved this one so I needed to put the result on some mockups and see how it would look like in real life. If you need a cool website to get free mockups check out

Second day of #dailylogochallenge!
This time my prompt was a hot air balloon logo for the company “whoosh”, and it was SO difficult to create it.
I’ve included my sketchbook pages here to show how messy the process was. Everything I tried ended up looking a lot like an octopus or wasn’t dynamic at all, a hot air balloon has a lot of elements: the basket, the balloon, the ropes, so it was really hard to think about a minimalist logo. Thinking about grids saved me this time, and I ended up with a solution I’m pretty happy with. (Yes, I really love putting stickers on my sketchbook. They’re funny and help me relax and enjoy the moment)
Following my last post, I’ve decided to study a bit of After Effects using the Aerolite logo. It’s a simple animation but it was so messy to organize my layers, I guess I need to name them properly now unlike I do in Photoshop (oh gosh). I’m so grateful for YouTube tutorials, I’ve learned a lot through this video.
