Her lips form a thin line of disapproval as she observes her neighbor standing so unsteadily in the hallway. It had been instinct to put her hand to the other woman’s forehead to check her temperature, but now it was more of an active concern. “Stay right here.” She said firmly before turning and darting in to her apartment. In a moment she was back, a blanket in her arms and a determined look on her face.
“You need rest.” She says firmly as she attempts to wrap Sora up in the blanket and gently manhandle her back in to her own home.

The crunch of leaves underfoot brought him out of his trance a little. Was this the guidance he had asked for or was this a sacrifice to be made. Hidan would find out.
The footsteps came into the clearing. He kept to his chanting, not breaking rhythym or missing a word. A voice spoke up. A heathen, clearly. The priest finished his prayer with a sigh and looked up.
A strange looking girl. White hair flecked with crimson. Some tips that looked like they were dipped in blood. Interesting.
“Praying.” He drawled. “That I’m on the right track.” Hidan tilted his head a little and grinned up at her. “You know any temples around here?”
Might as well ask. Guidance came in many forms and this wasn’t it then perhaps a life might get Jashin’s attention more.
Praying, was that what he had said? With actual words and rituals and-- was that blood? To her credit, she didn’t pale too quickly, too fast. Blood wasn’t all that uncommon after all, but seeing as it seemed to be for whatever strange rite that was supposed to ‘show him the way’ it didn’t have the same nonchalant effect on her that blood from the ninjas fighting and training did.
She shook her head. Just because he was weird didn’t mean she had to be rude. Fuyumi’s fingers flexed out and then curled inwards in to fists as she shrugged her shoulders. “I wouldn’t know specifically about temples,” they weren’t exactly covered in the books she had spent so much time bent over, “but there are some old abandoned ruins further in to the trees. In fact, I’m sure you’ve passed them on your way up here. They’re well hidden though, so don’t take it as a personal failing.”
He had a strange glint in his eyes and she’d much rather be helpful than dead.

If someone would have told her a week ago that she would be washing blood off her arms in her older brother's apartment, she would have laughed in their face. And then quite possibly have had to send ice cold fingers reaching up their arms until their body began to shut down. Because if anyone had suggested she would have done anything to result in violence, she would have had to silence them.
No, the surprising part of this scenario she was in was her being in Touya's apartment. She hissed as she brushed her fingers over an open cut. "Touya! Where's your first aid kit?" She called through the halls, hoping he was in the house. She didn't want to go stumbling through his house with blood dripping down her arms. It been hard enough to get back here without leaving a trail leading whoever came across the scene first to this house, and her hoody was ruined now. "Seriously, I need to know!"

“Well, in my ideal world, this would be the most eventful part of my day, you know?“ his mouth bent down unhappily. He knew that no matter what he did -what any hero did, for that matter- someone would not like him. But… had he given Fuyumi Todoroki the impression of being insincere?. That he didn’t care about people and only wanted the glory, the popularity, and the money?. For some reason… that hurt a bit.
“Does this happen often?” he asked instead, shaking his thoughts away.
That was a very honorable desire. Something kind, honest in his words. It off-balanced her a bit. She had never thought poorly of Hawkes, but she also had not had that much time to really think about the hero. It was too easy to assume that the public persona presented was only that, a persona. But there was no cameras around, no others in the hallway of her father’s agency. No one to perform for.
Was it possible that was how he truly thought?
She shook off such complex worries. She could dwell on it later, when the man wasn’t right here before her. “Not as often as it used to. I’ve just been forgetting to take my vitamins again. There’s been a lot happening recently.” She tried to reassure, turning so she could speak to him properly instead of her knees. She pushed her hair back out of her face, looking over his downturned lips. Despite what he had said, was he bothered by helping a faint woman. “It’s really nothing. It’ll pass soon enough if you have somewhere else to go.”

He crouched down along with her, just to make sure she wouldn’t hit her head. He initially had meant a chair but maybe the floor was a better idea of her blood pressure was low. He knew some stuff about how to help a person that was feeling faint, but he had never experienced it first hand.
“Keep your legs folded and put your head against your knees, it will help.”
His voice was surprisingly steadying to her, reassuring her that she wasn’t being a nuisance. Fuyumi followed his instructions, pressing her forehead lightly against her knees and breathing in and out slowly. The dizzy aspect was fading quickly but she knew better than to start moving immediately after. She smiled weakly at him, opening her eyes and glancing at him sideways at him.
“Not the most thrilling hero experience I’m sure. But thank you. I would have kept trying to walk.” She admitted quietly.

Hawks is hovering, not touching, but close enough to her to catch her if she were to pass out.
“You are really pale, Todoroki-san” he told her. Granted, her skin wasn’t exactly dark by default, and the white hair made her look paler. But this wasn’t that. “Why don’t you sit down for a moment?”
She was feeling light-headed, but the grey outs weren't too uncommon these days. Something about her iron levels, she really shouldn't zone out as much as she does at the doctor's office. His concern is grounding though and she offers him a weak smile.
"I think a seat sounds very good." She replied, knowing he probably meant a chair but unable to stop herself from sliding down the wall until she's resting with her back against it.
