I know I’ve posted this a few times, but my friend’s shop is in danger of having to close. SNAP was supposed to help and then it fell through at the last minute. They are a small family-owned business who has invested everything into this shop. The landlord is demanding a payment by the end of the week, and they just don’t have it. I know times are hard for so many people, but this incredible family-owned business is struggling. They worked hard to survive covid, but business is still less than half what it was before. They were able to do some online sales, only to find that constituted “being open”, so they couldn’t qualify for grants. These are good people who just need a helping hand, and everything helps.
