Just thinking about people making year-end summaries of their accomplishments and also about reasons to keep yourself alive through the next year. Sorry, itās a bit of a sappy comic.

I used to sit here alone, very late in the evening, encoding our dutyās census. Surely, reward comes to those who wait. :)

Weāre all on a flight to our own definition of success carrying different weights of emotional baggage. Mine might be heavier than yours, hers might be heavier than mine too. But thatās okay. Tune in for Love (2019) Movie Review
"The film is a romantic melodrama that will tell the love story of the optimistic Hyun Woo (played by Jung Hae In) and the hard-working Mi Soo (played by Kim Go Eun), who end up meeting by chance. Although the young coupleās paths keep crossing, timing never appears to be in their favor."Ā
As much as possible I avoided watching melodramas because I have enough melo in my life and I donāt want anymore addition. I just watched this movie mainly because of its main leads, Kim Go Eun & Jung Hae In, and because of a clip iāve seen in Twitter so I was not already expecting a happy ending but, spoilers alert, they ended up together.
Their love story is kind of a whirlwind romance where after not seeing each other for years, their feelings would always be rekindled, enjoy being in love and having each otherās company. For three times. Both actors delivered well and played their parts well that made me realize how one should learn to be comfortable with being an individual first before committing a relationship. Because your past could always creep up into you anytime. Sadly, for me, this movie had not delivered that. The story was a sweet, innocent romance, thanks for the two actorsā youthfulness, which paused after a few years then resumed. It never matured. They were just their for each other to seek comfort but refused to face problems together. Sure, they indeed ended up together but it did not show whether theyāll be able to face future problems together. Maybe thatās what the movie is trying to tell its viewers.
Post board examination blues
Hello everyone!
I am happy to share that I passed the Physician Licensure Exam last September!!! After 3 years of being in medical school and 2 years in the hospital, I am happy and proud of myself that all my efforts were finally paid off. Alhamdulillah. We had our review right after our post-graduate internship and my roommates who happened to be my classmates too also passed the exam. Yay! I couldnāt ask for a better roommate since we all have the same vibes and temper. One tip to survive the review days is to have right persons surround you because no one else should distract your review. Alhamdulillah for them. So after learning our results, my friends and I celebrated the next day by going to the mall and trying some games but unfortunately failed. Haha. I thought my post-board examination days would be just like this, free of worries, but I was wrong. I flew back home and my classmates were already job hunting for hospital duties while I was still in vacay mode. Some applied for pre-residency, others chose to serve in their provinces, awaiting their DTTB deployment. I initially planned to have a year off because I was tired of studying of almost 20 years straight in my whole life but I got pressured how others had their lives planned out so I applied for a pre-residency too. Out of pressure. :( I applied far away from my hometown which was around 10hrs away if weāre going by car. I was told that the training their is good but the place has few establishments to destress. I have also realised that 4 years is too long for me to be away from my family. Thatās why I decided to quit after 2 days of pre-res. Iāve been feeling confused because of what I did. Was it really for my family and the place? Because I felt like I made a wrong decision and I canāt take it back anymore. I think I quit because I was tired... On the second day of pre-res I woke up with no determination but I still went to the hospital. On the third day, I woke up still feeling the same and thatās how I decided to quit. I am not used to quitting things because I feel like it made me an irresponsible person. A few days after my decision I started to think if I made the right decision or not. I feel like my pride is eating me up because I donāt want to admit that I just let go of a good opportunity. I want to let someone know that I made a mistake and tell me that itās okay.. I did not know that I will be having this problems after passing the board exam. I am so torn and helpless because I am not used to having this problem that I donāt know how to approach it, I am afraid what will people say once iāve said that I quit because I was tired. I am tired. I donāt want people to have expectations for me. I just want to go things my own pace without being judged. Sigh. :(
