For the people who read my little posts about colors in Me and Thee, know that it's taking all of my strength to not write 1,000+ words and use 30 images just of the final red scene in episode six.
But I understand that in order to get to the end, I must start at the beginning where Thee is freaking out thinking he fucked up everything by kissing Peach after Peach pushed him away while watching soap operas about men taking advantage of women (who try to cover themselves up in the predator's red).
Because these women are Blue Beauties who have been misled by these horrible scheming Red Rascals.
Just like our poor Peach?
NO! Peach isn't freaking out because he has been deceived or taken advantage of by Thee, but because he now feels the weight of his feelings for a man. A rich man. A very rich man who may be involved in illegal business dealings. So he needs love advice which comes in the form of his sister's pink phone call.
Which gives me a chance to see all these boys in their natural state in the episode titled "Candid" all thanks to Red Rascal Rome doing the most Red Rascal shit by being dramatic and pouting to get his way knowing Mok can't say no.
Thee and Rome can't celebrate their birthdays because a celebration makes them easier targets to kill in one fell swoop. It sucks, but after an incident when they were kids, the dad is extremely cautious.
So Thee (and Rome) couldn't have friends because more friends means more people who could potentially harm them. But before his dad made him give up all his friends, Thee loved someone whose name began with a "P" at one point.
And he turned blue for him . . . interesting. But that's in the past, right?
Because now Thee is in love with a Blue Boy with blue bags and blue luggage whose name begins with a "P" . . . interesting.
And, maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part, but it seems like he is trying to combine their two colors into a purple just like his "T" initial was colored in the friendship bracelet he wanted to give his first love.
But rather than me dwelling on the complete and total coincidence that Thee has been in love with two Blue Boys who both just happen to have names that begin with "P," I'm reminded that Thee and Rome are very rich.
Which means they don't know how to cook nor clean.
And their first instinct when the lights go out is that their dad's worst fear is happening and that they are being targeted rather than they are being shown love by the Blue Boys in their life with mini birthday cakes that have red and blue candles.
But Thee recovers quickly by beautifully blowing out his red candle although he does instinctively reach for the gun that Rome brought him even though he intentionally left it at home to make Peach more comfortable.
And now these two Blue Boys with their blue cups can enjoy watching their Red Rascals in their natural state.
Like fighting each other over the cake with the red candle.
And getting drunk off of a red drink.
But this candid moment can't last forever, and Rome has to return to Hong Kong vowing to Mok to come back and love him (right) even with his looming departure to an even further away place to continue the family business looming over his head.
But Mok is tracking him with a little red plane icon, so I'm confident that there is no place on earth that Rome could go that Mok wouldn't follow.
And Red Rascal Thee must get back to being a serious businessman as his father wishes after he drops off Peach.
And once he wakes up from his long sleep in his silky blue pajamas which will help him dream of his Blue Boy before he sees him the next day.
And show up to greet Peach at work with a huge bouquet of flowers from every continent wrapped in red paper with some overly romantic line about how Peach is his entire world.
And go through every emotion possible when he learns that Peach got Mok a souvenir but not him even though he doesn't like spicy squid because a betrayal is a betrayal regardless of logic.
As a Red Rascal, he is taking this all seriously because he is a serious businessman and a serious man . . . in love with a man who apparently isn't taking his feelings seriously and just handing out things he doesn't even like to people who don't deserve it!!!!!
But Peach is taking Thee seriously which is why he decides to tell his sister that he is falling in love. With a man. And his sister guesses that man must be amazing and takes really good care of him because when Peach speaks of him, he becomes tiny enough to fit in a person's pocket and carried everywhere.
And now Peach is turning down people before they begin.
And getting calls from exes that he is making sure stay strictly business since he only has one person on his mind now.
Because just like his sister guessed, he is falling in love with an amazing Red Rascal who takes really good care of him and when Peach speaks of him, he becomes tiny enough to fit in his pocket and be carried everywhere.
In fact, Peach is taking Thee so seriously that he finally gives in to Thee and all that Thee wants to give him. His love. His color. His everything.
Oh, and a newly purchased dark room.
