Okay so I’m in theatre, and a big thing is signing peoples’ playbills. Which means I have a shit ton of signatures. And I’m not going to do anything with most of them, but some of those bitches are getting cursed and they’re handing me ammunition

Just performed my first ever hex. The target in question has been making me and my friend’s lives a living hell. His ex— a close friend of mine— is still not over him even though he broke her heart and is still constantly shitty to her. He’s caused so much discord and tension amongst my close circle. He mocks people, makes awful jokes at the expense of others, and refuses to act right under the guise of “choosing not to grow up.” At minimum, this’ll drive him out of my life, and hopefully hers too. At best? He’s never going to hurt a woman again. Whatever happens to him, I hope it hurts.

It is so endlessly exhausting being in-tune with my shadow and the bad parts of my life and how to navigate that while with someone who refuses help and is unable to help themself. I don't mean this pretentiously, I want the best for my partner but it is painful to hear them grieve their painful experiences yet do nothing about it at all. I have the answers and the ability to help spiritually and mentally yet I am met with protest. All I can do is hope they realize fate doesn't mean destined failure if his luck is not to their standards.

Anyway, who cares if lemon and rusty nails are typical for baneful spells. They work, that's why!

Witchcraft is an extremely personal practice and for the most part should be up to you on how you practice. There are some things that do have "guidlines" so to speak and should be followed but no other witch should decide how you practice. As long as you're not appropriating cloced cultures, find what calls you. If you're stuck in your path it's time for a change. Ask yourself what you believe and find that.

Hi I have a serious question, I'm not very familiar with witchcraft and Wiccan stuff but my sister seems to be very interested but we were raised in a Catholic home so we aren't well informed. But my question is can she still become a witch and remain in her religion? (I don't mind if she doesn't but she does feel uncomfortable without it) I was trying to find an answer online but everything is written by Christians and I wanted to know your input about it.

I generally don’t respond to asks on this blog, but I know how hard it is to look for answers to things like this, so I’ll offer my opinion, sure.

Honestly? I have no idea. I’m an ex-Christian, but I’ve never been Catholic, so I don’t know what the “official” Catholic position on that is.

From my own experiences with religion, spirituality, and so on...in the end, I think that’s up to her.

Look, when it comes down to it, religion means different things to different people. There are many Christians, but each one does Christianity in their own way. Some people pray a lot, some people read the Bible a lot, some people do neither. Some people only go to church once a week, some go twice, some go on holidays - everyone has a different way of practicing their own religion.

So I don’t really know how I can help you out, here. :/ This is all between your sister, her conscience, and her religious leaders (if she has any). Religion and spirituality are very deep, personal things, and what you can and can’t do is something that you have to figure out on your own.

i can't properly practice without fixing my religious trauma/conditioning and i don't know how. my brain still seeks out traditions or beliefs that it can latch on to and use to punish me for not being morally pure. trying to avoid anything with a moral slant keeps me from being engaged, but embracing it means my brain takes it to its extreme and punishes me until i inevitably distance myself from my practice.

I found out my friend’s abusive ex told him she was pregnant. I freaked out and prayed for help on the situation. That night I had a dream about a spell that caused her to miscarry the child, and I performed it. She claimed she had a miscarriage, but I thought she just lied about everything until I later found out she had a test to prove she was pregnant. I’ve never told him.

Tumblr seems to love making decorative scrapbooks instead of grimoires, books of shadows, etc... Is anyone even leaving space for their future personal notes and meditations or just writing out keywords from the internet? A lever-arch file w dividers & plastic sleeves isn't pretty but at least it's not static and limited, it's dynamic. You can rearrange things whenever, you can file worksheets and cocktail napkins, you can split into 2 folders if you need to. Practicality > aesthetic.

Kinda feeling lonely lately. Like... I wish I wasn't so anxious whenever I see posts in my area about witchy events, that I don't go, cause I wanna meet someone... I wanna meet someone special. I feel immature cause I've never had a boyfriend before and... if I want a partner, I'd ideally want another witch. I just feel weird about using dating sites or going to events explicitly to talk to people. I used to be so out going when I was younger and now... I dunno. Sorry if this is the wrong place.

When I was 13 years old there was a girl I despised because she was so negative to be around so I prayed on a dandelion and felt as if she would get pregnant at 15 years old and that LEGIT happened. I didn’t understand that what I was doing could be actually harmful and because I had such a strong connection with nature who knows if that played a roll, but karma hit me hard around the same time and I was heartbroken for her. Yikes.

A few months ago, I did a revenge spell on an ex. Nothing major, I was just giving karma a little push. But I’m worried that I caused the accident that totalled his car. I don’t even know if it was my magic that did it. Maybe he deserved it, but I still feel guilty.

witchcraft is and will always be what works for you first and foremost. if you follow the guidelines to an exact even if it doesn't feel right and you don't get a result, that's because magic isn't a dang guidebook! there's a reason intuition is held to a high regard by EXPERIENCED witches.
