Well she was right about one thing,he definately was asking her out or trying to. Normally for anyone that tries to hit on her she would have rejected them on the spot and dating wasn’t even in her interest.But there was something different about him and he isn’t like most men so maybe it wouldn’t be bad to give him a shot.

“I didn’t take you for someone who’s into interior design.It’s a nice line but shouldn’t we go on actual date first before you take me home that’s usually how it works and maybe your luck might become a little brighter.”

“Well, normally people just take me up on my offer, raw me or kick me around for a bit, leave a huge mess and then leave. Sometimes they even leave cash behind, like... they think I’m some kind of-”

For some reason... Noct just feels like he shouldn’t start this all off with blathering about his sexual escapades with Lightning, someone he literally only met maybe a day or so prior. Doesn’t need her or the whole group of warriors of light thinking he’s a damn hooker or worse.

Plus, despite his lame pick up lines - which didn’t seem to register at all - she has a lasting impression on him as someone who he can trust and look up to... if he doesn’t up and mess this whole thing up, if he hasn’t already with his shit.

“Ah, maybe I shouldn’t be talking about this with you. And you’re right, we should go on a date first. I tell you, Insomnia is actually really nice.”

If they could even reach it from where they’re at. This mashed up fairy tale world is weird.
