hello again, internet

I need to stop disappearing. I’ve been on internet hiatus for a while because I haven’t had the mental capacity to deal with a lot of things.

I had a lot of post-traumatic and adjustment-related stress I was dealing with that I’m still processing. (Adjustment fatigue is a real and serious thing, guys. don’t shrug it off.) My physical health was also a hot mess. I finally got medication, a psychiatrist, and I started taking therapy and my mental health a lot more seriously. I’m doing a lot better now, which is such a relief.

Right now, I’m focusing on myself a lot. A lot of that has to do with cutting down the excess stuff in my life I don’t need to deal with, which is part of why I disappeared. I’m compartmentalizing myself a lot -- you might see me dividing up a lot of my previous interest into some side blogs.

I miss people, and I’m hoping to socialize more soon. I have a lot of therapeutic-type art in my pocket so maybe that’ll be worth sharing...
