What aspects of Riddler or Scarecrow are meaningful to you?
For Riddler, I relate very heavily to his desire to be seen completely for who he is. He scorns BEING a riddle himself. He feels deep down that there's no one out there who he can fully connect to because they don't understand something about him or have an idea of what they think he's about. I appreciate how human and real that feeling really is, for a character that often represents queer people, neurodivergent people, etc.
For Scarecrow, I kinda just like that he's a cool representative for southerners in media lmaooo. Like he's not Always Southern but when he is he makes for this really cool ambassador representing the pervasive Haunting Nature living in the rural south brings, the fear of rotting out here without any way to save yourself. Crane brings to Gotham with him a taste of Rural Dread. He's also incredibly intelligent, essentially Always being a professor/PhD of some kind, which makes for cool southern rep that isn't a cowboy or some kind of Law Officer. AND he's basically the embodiment of Halloween, which is my favorite holiday, and it's near my birthday, and I've always lowkey sort of like Scarecrow more than Riddler but Riddler is more fun to woobify. I Just Think He's Neat essentially
