If ever there's a spell jar worthy of a necklace it's probably this one 💖
If you want really powerful spells that work 90% of the time i have one important tip for you
PLEASE incorporate your childlike wonder into your spells
When i was little i could see spirits, i made "potions" with random plants in pretty bottles of water. I read and took notes of spiderwick chronicles feild guide, dragonology books and those fairy pop up books.
I incorporate this into my practice by rereading those kid books. The dragonology book had anglo saxon runes and translations branded as "dragon language" and now i use that alphabet in sigils not because im a norse pagan but because they're connected to my childhood. I still take little notes of the spiderwick chronicales because some things are based off of real folk lore. I make spell bottles not because its popular, but because i did it as a kid. I work with spirits and clairvoyance because again, that was my childhood.
If you're struggling with creating a reliable spell please try asking yourself "what would kid me do?" Because giving your younger self a voice and space for self expression not only makes your spells more powerful, but also heals your inner child.
Its technically really chill shadow work.
Working with every part of yourself makes spell casting actually reliable.
Correspondences - Why are they called that?
I'm sure at some point, like me, you were curious as to why we use the word "correspondences" when connecting physical things meant to represent, relate to, to nonphysical things. No? Just me? Well here are my notes about the topic, anyways!
What are correspondences?
In the context of theology, correspondence is "a relationship between two levels of existence".
The use of the term in this way was coined by Emanuel Swedenborg in his works Arcana Cœlestia (1749–1756), Heaven and Hell (1758) and other such works. Here is a quote from Swedenborg himself:
Though this idea wasn’t new, and neither was the word “correspondence”, Swedenborg coined the term to explain the relationship between the spiritual world and the material world.
Nothing can exist anywhere in the material world that does not have a correspondence with the spiritual world—because if it did, it would have no cause that would make it come into being and then allow it to continue in existence. Everything in the material world is an effect. The causes of all effects lie in the spiritual world, and the causes of those causes in turn (which are the purposes those causes serve) lie in a still deeper heaven. (Secrets of Heaven #5711)
The idea that the material world and the spiritual world are linked came along before Swedenborg, however.
Swedenborg’s Law of Correspondence is similar to the “As above, so below” concept that you may see often in spiritual circles, which comes from the Hermetic text The Emerald Tablet; as well as the microcosm–macrocosm analogy; the idea that the human body is a microcosm—a small universe that mimics the macrocosm (or “great universe”).
Similar ideas can be found all throughout the world and in many cultures. (See also Sympathetic Magic, Synchronicity, and the Doctrine of Signatures.)

Okay, y'all - stop sending me DMs about healing magic and herbal remedies. It's great for some things! Sore throats, coughs, some aches and pains, headaches, trouble sleeping... for stuff like that, essential oils and teas are great! Eucalyptus for me is wonderful for a realizing shower after a really bad anxiety attack. But please, please, there is a difference between using honey to soothe a cough and claiming essential oils are going to replace antibiotics.
Witchcraft isn't going to heal your pneumonia, depression, or cancer.
Herbal teas are not going to stop your surgical incision from getting infected.
Witchy remedies arent going to make your tattoo heal faster than recommended aftercare.
Listen to your doctor, nurse, piercer, or artist.
Take your antibiotics, antidepressants, and prescriptions.
And stop telling people that tea and tonics are going to cure them. You are not their specialist!
This is a very pro-medicine blog! Take your medicine! Go to a clinic!
And for the last fucking time: honey tea is good for sore throats but medication is for step throat!
Witchcraft isn't going to magically heal you. It's just not. Some things are beyond the effect of spells and incantations.
If you don't agree, I don't have time for you. Block me. Or even better, comment, and I'll block you. I don't want your bullshit on my page. There are baby witches here who are learning and easily influenced and I will not have them influenced by the likes of you.
Baby witches: do not listen to those who think 100% of human ailments can be cured herbally and magically. That is false. Take care of yourself at all costs and don't listen to that. Listen to your specialists, doctors, and psychologists, especially if you have mental illnesses since those seem to be targeted most.
This has been a very frustrated and aggressive public service announcement.

This is my favorite recipe for recovering from cold and flu. I made a batch of it this morning for some of my officemates who haven't been feeling well and I thought I would share in case anyone needs a pick-me-up.
You will need:
Black tea (I usually use Earl Grey for this recipe)
Honey (local is best if you can get it)
Ginger paste
A fresh orange
Cinnamon stick (if desired)
Brew the tea on the strong side and fill your favorite mug about 2/3 of the way. Add a pea-sized amount of ginger paste plus honey to taste and stir well. Slice the orange into wedges. Select a piece and prick the rind with a fork before adding it to the cup of tea. Macerate the orange a little to release the juice and pulp. If you want, you can also add a cinnamon stick for flavor.
Breathe in the steam while the tea is hot, then sip slowly once it's cooled to a drinkable temperature. It's best to drink it while it's hot. I find this really helps with cough and sore throat, plus it's tasty and comforting. Nothing like a good cuppa to put oneself right again.
Pro-Tip: If you want to make a decongestant version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper. Your nose will run like a faucet, but it helps.
Happy Witching! 🤧
A warm brew for colds and flu
So this is a recipe and a spell for when you’re feeling under the weather; particularly colds . Ultimately it’s a souped up version of Hot Honey and lemon.
[quick disclaimer; this doesn’t prevent anything it simply helps aliviate symptoms and cheers your spirit]
So here we go;
Into a pot add to tap water ;
Slice/chunks of fresh ginger
Lemon juice ( preferably fresh)
A handful of cardamom pods
Honey and Syrup ( as natural and as local as you can get)
A few star anise
A couple of whole cloves
A pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg
You could also add some oranges or apple
And then bring to the boil, using a pan lid to trap in as much moisture as possible.
Pour, Strain and cool slightly before drinking.
I often batch make this so I have a jug in the fridge to heat up when ever ( I leave the additives in this jug before I heat it )
I love your blog! I could ask a million questions for shadow work prompts. Could you do one for cord cutting/ releasing the energy of another person?
Hello! I appreciate your compliment! Feel free to send shadow work prompt requests. I can in fact give you some insight, however, I feel it necessary to state that I still have much progress to make in my journey as an occultist. So I will describe this as best as I can.
So, first I'll start by saying that it's good to understand the connection in the most honest way you can. Look at what cycles were perpetuated, and what emotions you went through. It's important to be accountable, it's important to process and release the connection. Depending on the severity of what went down you might even want to do a series of workings. IE: a spiritual bath, a ritual of emotional release (a burn letter works for this), and of course in all situations. Some serious, unbiased, shadow work. Try to understand the situation for what it is, what it was, and what it served, and state it out loud to yourself. "I am no longer in agreement with any karmic cycles, contracts, or engagements with ______." It's basically an affirmation that you are done with that cycle & that you will no longer be engaging in it. As for cord-cutting, you can do the basic candle and twine spell. I would just make sure to do a protection candle. for yourself as well as make sure that you are doing the PHYSICAL work to back the spiritual work. A cord-cutting is useless if you know you're not going to block them and just respond to their messages. If you're doing any spiritual work you want to make sure you are POSITING yourself for success. So just keep that in mind, if it's an ex delete the pictures, delete the messages, and clear it all out. So as for the classic candle and twine, what you'll need is 2 candles. Usually, people do black, if it's a romantic relationship you can also use red. Depending on the situation you can really use whatever candle colors you feel like fit your situation. Anyways, you'll take a piece of twin and wrap it around both candles basically representing the spiritual cord. It would be best advised to maybe surround your candle with salt and something like rosemary for banishing and clearing out the cord & its energy. For a protection candle, you can take a simple black or white candle, and charge it with protective energy. You can carve in a simple sigil or even the rune Algiz. This is a personal preference, but I do like to utilize the elements when shielding myself. I will call upon and shape each current of energy according to my intention and then sort of weave them all together with the element of spirit. edit: A burn letter btw would consist of essentially writing out your thoughts, feelings, and grievances towards this person & then burning it as a form of release. Since you are writing (pens are associated with air and air is thoughts, the mind, mercurial type energy.) and anchoring your thoughts & feelings into a physical item (paper) by utilizing sympathetic magick you can then assume that by using fire to burn the paper that through the process of writing your thoughts and feelings out and then burning the paper that you are releasing them back to the universe to be cleansed and repurposed for whatever the universe sees fit.
(I want to note this is just my belief system, and the way that *I* personally understand it to work.) Hope this helps.
Cord Cutting Ritual
🕯🔥🪢✂️🧘⚕️✨⚕️🧘✂️🪢🔥🕯
Sharing some energy from my cord cutting ritual tonight. It’s been far too long allowing toxic biological family to stay attached. If you need the energy boost to assist in releasing toxic attachments, try burning some cloves and cinnamon for extra protection. Focus on the spell cards, then spend some time mediating to also help.
1) Accepting and energizing individuality with strength and self-worth
2) Making this choice with love, understanding, and absolute honesty
3) Letting go of entrapments and oaths to those that do not have our highest and best interest at heart

[1]: Included in this list as I use Brimo primarily as the epithet/manifestation of Hekate for my protection around the house. I prefer walls with barbs, if you will.
[2]: area before the house
[3]: from the Homeric Hymn to Demeter; she goes down to the underworld in front of Persephone, to protect her and guide the way, hence the inclusion in this list.
Cleansing your space: A How-To Guide
Since there has been some confusion over what is appropriate to use when cleansing one’s space, I thought I’d make a little post on my favorite methods from my own Grimoire.
1. Salt.
Simply sprinkle salt (a small grain type) on the carpet. After about an hour, vacuum. Salt crystals have an amazing natural built in-ability to absorb negative energy. As an alternative, you can put bowls of salt in the corners of the room and remove them after a few hours. *this works for people too. Instead of sprinkling yourself with salt, take a bath with 2 cups of sea salt in it. It’s grounding and clearing all at the same time.
2. Room spray
Buying or making a room spray with pure essential oils helps clear negative energy. The best ones to use for clearing are rose, lavender, frankincense, and patchouli. *this works for people too. Gently mist yourself with the spray!
3. High-Frequency Music
Playing high vibration music can make a big difference. We already know what a difference music can make in our own energy, and it does the same for spaces. Any music that makes you feel good will work!
4. Black Tourmaline
This is my favorite crystal for clearing negative energy. I have several of them around my house. This crystal does not need to be cleared as others do.
*this works for people too. I often put it in my pocket or purse while traveling. It’s great for sensitive people who seem to pick up on the energy around them and need some extra protection.
5. Burn White Sage
You can buy white sage sticks in many places, including online. Burning this while you walk around your house with it (swirling it in a counterclockwise rotation) is really great for clearing bad energy.
I usually say something as I do it like “I’m clearing all stagnant energy from this space and allowing only that of the highest vibration to remain.” *this works for people too. Start at your feet swirling the smoke from the sage around you until you get all the way up to your head.
6. Incense
Burn sandalwood incense or dried sage to disintegrate the negative energy in each room. Wave it counterclockwise in each corner, closet, and cabinet. You may also let one stick burn in each room. Say, “Thank you for the complete disintegration of all negative energies, thoughts, and emotions from this room now.”
7. Candles
Light a candle to dedicate energy to your endeavors. Say your wish out loud. For example, “I am so grateful for all the love, harmony, and healthy energy pouring into my home right now.”
8. Bells
While Tibetan bells have additionally sacred symbolism to them, the ring of any bell will brighten up your space with positive energy. As the sound vibrations disperse blocked energy, the sweet chimes work to uplift the fresh energy leftover. Ring your bell throughout your space, working the vibrations into those overlooking areas.
9. Essential Oils
Diffusing essential oils is a great way to clear negative energy from your home or office space, and as the oils stay in the air for hours afterward, you continue to experience their therapeutic properties.
With the right essential oils, a diffuser can also set a positive, safe space and reduce the accumulation of negative energy in the first place.
10. Purification Salts.
Same principle with the sea salt, only with added herbs for extra oomph. I like Hyssop, Argomony, Rosemary, Lemon Balm, and Lavender. Grind together with Sea salt and Epsom salt and you have a powerful purification salt. Great for ritual baths as well!
Find what works for you, Witchcraft is not one size fits all, and there is a myriad of techniques and practices that you can adopt without appropriating. A little research and a lot of reading go a long way. I hope that this was at least marginally helpful.
