Sigil Pancakes
As far as kitchen magick goes; sigil pancakes are one of my favourite things to make. Theyβre simple, effective, and delicious. The best thing about sigil pancakes is that they can be used for so many different things!
Base Recipe: I like to make these from scratch, but you can also use boxed mix if you need/want. Mix all the dry ingredients, then add in the wet ingredients. Itβll be kind of thick, if you want to thin it out add a little more milk. Β Β - 1 cup of all-purpose flour Β Β - 2 tsp baking powder Β Β - 2 tbsp granulated sugar Β Β - ΒΎ + 2tbsp milk Β Β - 1 large egg Β Β - 2 tbsp butter, melted Β Β - 1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional Additions:Β I tend to switch these up depending on what my goals are Β Β - Almond Extract: Mental clarity, mental healing, abundance. Β Β - Crushed Walnuts: Luck, clarity, abundance. Β Β - Crushed Hazelnut: Self-love, wisdom, protection. Β Β - Coconut Shavings: Confidence, strength, glamour. Β Β - Lavender Syrup or Lavender Sugar: Peace, love, purification. Β Β - Cinnamon: Success, action, energy, love, money. Β Β - Clove: Protection, purification, mental ability. Β Β - Ginger: Love, success, suppressing nausea. Β Β - Nutmeg: Psychic abilities, love, happiness. Β Β - Other fruits: Most fruits are associated with love, fertility, & happiness.
Remember to set your intention on all of the ingredients you use, especially ones with certain properties.
When cooking the pancakes, first dip a spoon into the batter and draw your sigil on the pan. Once youβve done that, pour batter onto the sigil and bake like any other pancake!
