Don’t forget to recite Surah Kahf 💕
Some words aren’t meant to be translated. To only be read in its true meaning, language and form. To only be said in its purest tone. Regardless of it being understood, its light, without fail, will always find its way into the hearts and every heart.
To me, that is the Qur’an.
“Be patient. For what was written for you was written by the greatest of writers.”

to the brokenhearted
Adam needed Hawa (Eve) to enjoy living in the Garden
- The need for love and intimacy is not codependency
Maryam’s (Mary) greatest honor was being the mother of Esa (Jesus)
- Being a single mother is not a disgrace
Lut’s (Lot) wife didn’t listen to his instructions
- Even great partners can be betrayed by their spouses
Asiyah was killed by her husband, Pharoah
- Your abusive partner is not your fault
Nuh’s (Noah) own son rejected him
- Effective parenting doesn’t guarantee successful children
Ayyub (Job) battled sickness and repeated trials
- Chronic illness is nothing to be ashamed of
Ibrahim’s (Abraham) father threatened to kill him
- You can overcome a bad childhood and oppressive parents
Musa (Moses) had to flee his homeland in pursuit of safety
- You can be a refugee or migrant and build a new home
Zakariya struggled to have a child
- Infertility isn’t a sign that God is displeased with you
Yusuf (Joseph) was put in prison for something he didn’t do
- Sometimes innocent people are unjustly imprisoned
The Prophet Muhammad (saw) was an orphan, a widower, and had to grieve the loss of his own children
- The best of mankind experienced these trials too
In your broken heartedness, remember that you are not alone
- Even if you have no one, you are in the care of God

Let’s cleanse ourselves in this beautiful month of Ramadan✨❤️
رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Rabbi ‘inni limaa ‘anzalta ‘ilayya min khairin-faqeer
My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.
“If something is destined for you, never in a million years will it be for somebody else. Trust Allah.”
