Ecrin should come crawling for forgiveness alas, it is not how he works. Entitlement runs through Avci veins and bleeds proud instead of red. He is far from callous and despite his light laughter, he bows his head respectfully. “I couldn’t agree more. I would have loved to call but my phone was ringing relentlessly. I shall get a little better at keeping you in the loop. Perhaps I need a PA.” Kim can fire him and be within her rights to do so but Ecrin treats life as if it’s his right to be there. “It’s blueberry.” he adds with a smile and flourish of his wrist.

“You don’t say.” Kim feels as if that is the obvious at this point, if he’s so unavailable to his clientele to inform them of his absence. She doesn’t hide the eyeroll that melts into fondness as he draws attention to the present she’d been given. Kim breaks it a piece off to eat as she looks Ecrin over. “Are you settling in well?” If he made her wait for business talk she can prolong it a moment longer with an update on the latest lawyer to reside in her city. “You sister hasn’t kicked you out yet?” She teases.

Celeste had known that things were not good; she didn’t realize they were downright terrible though. It had started like any other day really, the brunette leaving her apartment for work to see very little activity near the boutique. The sign on the door that said ‘closed’ had made her heart drop and she quickly entered to talk to the owner. She went on and on about how she couldn’t lose the job, but all their responded with was that the boutique couldn’t be kept open anymore- it was causing them to lose money at this point. Celeste was freaking out as she stood there aimless when Kim came in. “Kim.” She said her name before a lightbulb went off. “Wait, Kim! Are you hiring? Could I work for you? I’m a hard worker!”

Already buzzing from rushing over to the store Kim is met with just as much frazzled energy as she feels. It seems as if she’d walked straight into the news being broken as Celeste jumps at her seeking employment. “Yes! Yes- Well no but yes.” It’s not how she expected to broach the topic with the young woman but it did get to the point. Kim didn’t exactly have an opening but after meeting Celeste the other week she was more than impressed to make on. “I was actually coming here just to talk to you about that.” Kim gives a little wave to her friend, who was now busy looking at the shell his business had become. “Do you want to come have coffee down at the cafe and we can discuss a future at With Love? I had a few ideas I wanted to approach you with.”

Her kids from any pain that comes their way. Kim isn't afraid to go full mama bear if she needs to.

how hard is it for your muse to open up to others? what holds them back?

Being complete open and honest leaves you open to be manipulated and left. For so long Kim has run on the mentality she needs to handle things alone or she'll be left alone. There are walls people have yet to be let inside, but maybe one day she'll let someone all the way in.

what was their childhood like?

Kim used to think her childhood was fantastic, a real dream with lake house trips and going to events with her parents, but it was once she grew up and took off the rose coloured lenses that things started to feel less than perfect. She remembers from a young age being told what she couldn't do, like play sports with the boys, and how she had to look right, talk right and be with the right kind of people. From a young age her purpose was to be a wife and a mother, simply because that is all her parents saw for her. It took having her own daughters for her to realise she'd gone through a lot of conditioning as a child that most - hopefully - do not experience. When her parents started to treat her girls that way it was the final straw on their already fractured relationship, she cut them off and has remained that way since.

do they enjoy being the center of attention? why or why not?

Kim would rather be the wallflower watching someone get all the attention than be the centre of it. That being said she loves when it's a more intimate kind of attention, like the way that Blaze always calls her Kimmy when no one else does.

does your muse recognize their faults, or do they have trouble with self-reflection? // describe their personality in one word.

Kim would not be who she is today if she didn't look at herself and the choices she made along the way. She has grown a lot into herself but knows she still has growth to do. Her faults are just as much as her as her benefits.
