a tongue that remembers Allah,
and a pious woman who helps you in your worldly and religious matters,
are the best things that people treasure.”

“Humility is for you to leave your home and believe that every Muslim you see is better than you.”
— [Minhaj al-Qasidin, vol. 2, p. 899]
What a blessing it is to find in this world a friend who shares your principles and heart. A friend who fills your days with love and light. A friend who helps you heal and helps you grow. A friendship so selfless and pure. May it lead us to gardens beneath which rivers flow.

Setting a goal doesn't always have to be something big you want to achieve in 10 years. Sometimes your next goal is for tomorrow and its getting out of bed, sometimes your next goal is for in an hour and its cleaning your room. Its okay to start and think small when it comes to having goals. Just remember to take one step at a time and try not to rush yourself.
i hear your “slow progress is still progress” and raise you “sometimes you will find yourself making no progress and that is okay”
we’re human and we’re not always going to be progressing every minute of our lives, and sometimes we need extra help to get to where we want to be and there’s nothing wrong with that

Decided to write a poem about how december feels. I kinda liked it.
— Natalie Diaz, Manhattan Is a Lenape Word
Hello December!
The month of poetry, old memories and everything bittersweet. May your sunlight be filled with warmth of love and your rainfalls bring blessings. May your gatherings be loaded with laughter and your solitude be serene. May your melancholy be confined to sad tales and your mirth extended to the every part of cosmos.

خوشا چشمی که رخسار تو بیند،
خوشا آن دل که دلدارش تو گردی.
Blessed be the eyes which see your face,
Blessed be that heart whose beloved is you.

"I am homesick for a place I am not sure even exists. One where my heart is full. My body loved. And my soul understood."
– Melissa Cox
"I'm homesick all the time," she said, still not looking at him "I just don't know where home is."
– Sarah Addison Allen, The Girl Who Chased the Moon
"I want to go home, but I don't know where it is."
– Orson Scott Card, Ender's Game
"I want to go home. I will always want to go home. Even when I am at home I want to go home. But I'm not really thinking of a place, it's more that feeling of everything finally being over, of seeing the light in the windows of your house on a cold night, of being safe, the relief of leaving a party you're not enjoying, like when you felt sick at school and they sent you home, or when you got upset at a sleepover and they called your parents. I want my mam to come get me. I want to go home."

[Text Description: I am begging: (in italics) let me be lonely but lonely but not invisible.]
It is human to make mistakes, to misunderstand, to fall short.
Don't be so hard on yourself -- you're just human!
