Random thought but, I get the whole ‘timeline’ thing for Maggie not having a baby bump yet BUT when I cut off my hair like she did it took me from early August till pretty much late May, so pretty close to a year, to get my hair back to about the length she has it at end of season 8. They could’ve at least kept the haircut consistent to make the timeline reason stronger. Unless maggie has hella fast growing hair.
How is Maggie gonna rebel against the Grimes if LC doesn’t have a contract for s9?
Yeah when I have time to come back I’ll be canon divergent 100%. Season 8 didn’t happen.

i stopped watching in the middle of season 7, and i just revamped. it was hard keeping muse when i first started, but since i have multiple verses for if glenn survives, i guess it’s okay? long story short, if you want to come back as canon-divergent or comic-based, do it! i’ll write with you.
I really don’t want to give up on Maggie I’ve had her so long but those writing choices. Once I’m not drowning in work I’m hoping to have time to come back and try and get back into the swing of things and hopefully that’ll help boost my muse for Maggie! I miss her and I would love to write with you!
So I don’t really watch twd anymore. I’m waiting to see if Lauren ends up staying or not and if she doesn’t then I’m probably going to call it quits for good. Right now I don’t have like any time to write and when I do have time Maggie isn’t the muse that I want to be on, when I have more time I’m hoping to return and just play her as canon divergent and/or comic based.

So I haven’t watched the episode, I didn’t want to give them a view, but seeing the dash when/if my maggie muse comes back I will be canon divergent and ignoring this horrible writing choice completely. My main muse now is Dolores. I don’t have much time to write and I’d rather focus on her for the moment
lauren deserves better than amc, I’m hoping for the best with her new pilot.

It’s okay, anon. I’m no stranger to the fact that tone is hard to convey over the internet and sometimes it comes off wrong. I’m just hypersensitive about feeling like a bad partner at the moment because I haven’t really been on much lately. Thank you so much for the charaterization compliment. I hope I can keep doing maggie justice, especially if the show doesn’t give her the storylines she deserves by refusing to pay Lauren equal.

I heard rumors about it but never read into it? If she's leaving, how do you think they'll deal with all that? And also, what's the new show she's on? ]
You probably didn’t mean it to come off this way but the part in the parentheses was super passive aggressive so I’m going to address that too. I am sorry, but it’s also stated in my rules and on my blog that I’m a highly selective, private, and low activity blog. I do that for my own sanity. I have a very busy life outside of rp and for the past year I’ve barely had the time to get online, which is clear in the decline in the number of replies I actually get done. I was actually just talking about this with someone, but some of the reason I’ve barely been on Maggie is because my drafts kept piling up and I felt guilty and stressed so I avoided her blog altogether. While I don’t mean to actively ignore anyone, I’ve already been struggling to keep up with the few threads I have so the passive aggressiveness was not appreciated.
In terms of Lauren, nothing is set in stone yet but she may walk away from the show. Her contract expired and in renegotiations for a new contract she asked for a pay increase that’s comparable to what the male actors on the show get paid. It’s well known that the actresses get paid significantly less than the actors on the walking dead. Because AMC responded with a small pay increase that wasn’t close to what she was asking and Lauren rejected the offer she’s now free to consider taking on other work and several offers have been extended to her to star in new shows that are still in the pilot phase. I’m assuming if she did leave they’d just kill of Maggie.
I’m torn because I don’t want Lauren to leave because I love Maggie so much but she also deserves better than the show, so if she does leave I really can’t be too upset.
