He had a nice arrangement with the Tyrells- - - a comfortable arrangement. It was as comfortable as it could be, considering he’d have to marry Loras’s sister. She was pretty, at least, but he only had eyes for her brother. The two of them shared an affection more than any master and squire should, but as they got older it started to feel more natural. Not many others saw it that way, but neither of them really cared. Loras would be close, he would have a wife, and he would be the king. That was all that mattered.
He finished getting ready and stared at himself in the mirror. Renly couldn’t help but be nervous about this night. It wouldn’t compare to the nerves he’d have on his wedding night. He knew that. Still, he couldn’t stop fidgeting with his clothes and making minor adjustments to his hair in order to put off meeting with his bride-to-be. He knew what he had to do to become king. As a king, he’d have to do a lot of things he didn’t want to, so he might as well get used to it now.
“Margaery, you look beautiful,” Renly said as he approached the doors to the great hall. The words were well rehearsed; he’d said them in front of the mirror hundreds of times in practice. He extended his arm so the two of them could link together. He took a deep breath and nodded to the guards, signaling that they could open the doors. “Are you excited?”
Margaery turned to find her soon-to-be-betrothed addressing her. She smiled at him. He looked very handsome himself. He would be the very envy of our lady in the room before them (and perhaps some men too). The people would love him. She knew that. He had this presence that was warm and welcoming. She looked forward getting to know him more.
“Thank you, Renly,” she said. It felt strange to address him so informally; however, they were soon to be engaged and then married after that. “You look very handsome yourself. I’m sure I shall be all the envy of our courtiers because I shall be walking in with you,” she said with a kind smile, meaning every word that she had uttered. She took a deep breath, calming herself. At his question, she chuckled a little, glancing down at the tiled floor for but a moment, craftily hiding her true nerves. Then she decided to glance up at him and show herself. They were to be married so they ought to be honest with one another- as honest as a King and Queen could be. “Yes, I am excited. I am also nervous. I’m certain grandmother has invited almost everyone in the Reach to see this event.” She paused. “Truth be told, I am a mixture of emotions. Excited, nervous, slightly terrified-- Terrifying in an exciting way if that makes sense at all.”
She chuckled. “It probably sounds quite silly. I have never left the Reach before so I am unsure of what awaits me in the rest of Westeros. Though I am not too worried about Storm’s End, Loras has always spoken favourable of it.” It would be nice to have a familiar face in her new life. She saw the guards moving towards the door to open them. It was time. “I am mostly excited though. What about you? Are you excited?” she asked, moving a little closer to him.

Sansa sat beside Margaery, her spoon dipping into the delectable dessert atop the plate between them. They sat in her brother’s solar, the redhead still quite surprised that the other girl had made her way all the way to Winterfell. “Well? Do you like it? I had them make something especially sweet for your impromptu visit.” She admitted with a grin.
Margaery dipped her own spoon into the desert that sit in front of her and Sansa. It was definitely different but scrumptious. “It is absolutely delicious. I love it. You’ll have to let me ask them the recipe,” she said with a wide grin. “I cannot believe that we are sitting her sharing a desert of all things in the North. Oh how, the world works in such strange ways!”

“Golden Tooth,” he added to specify where the seat of House Lefford was. “The Westerlands are as if the sunset has been captured in the landscape. I believe a lady such as you would appreciate the beauty of the land.”
Golden Tooth? She had remembered seeing that name on the grand tapestry of Westeros that hung in the great library in Highgarden that she would spend hours in as a child. “That sounds unbelievably beautiful, my Lord,” she said, trying to imagine the sunset. She definitely would have to go see it one day. Margaery sighed, “I wish I could leave the capitol just for a day to see it but I, like you, am bound here. If I may be bold and trust you, I am not the greatest fan of King’s Landing. There is much poverty here and it breaks my heart to see a child go hungry.” Her home was very different from King’s Landing. Nobles in the Reach seemed to care more about the small people than they did in the capital.

hollowhillknight :
The young man was impatiently pacing the floor. He had been told by a servant that the lady would be with him soon. He wasn’t sure exactly what this lady wanted with him, but he doubted it could be anything good. His first thought when the soldiers found him was that they wanted him for his role in the brotherhood, but he’d assumed they would have just hanged him then, and certainly treated him worse. For while his trip had been involunteer it had not been unpleasant. Tied to his horse, yes, but he was given decent food and neither of the soldiers were unkind to him. This puzzled the young knight.
A door opened and Gendry stilled his steps, stopping on the floor and looking towards the door. A young girl smiled at him and informed him that Lady Margaery Tyrell was ready to see him, she then stepped aside so the woman he assumed was the lady herself entered the room. He bowed, as was right when faced with a noble lady.
“M'lady,” he said, “I’m honored, but admittadly confused. What do you want with me?”
Margaery Tyrell noted the young man’s bow towards her. Well-mannered young man. Smart eyes. Compared to many of the noblemen that she had met, he was a breath of fresh air. He did not have their attitude and seemed somewhat kind. Hmmm.... She paused, deciding that she could work with this Gendry. Regardless of her analysis of him, she would have to work with him in any case based on her grandmother’s strong suggestion. Nevertheless, she continued analyzing him. Margaery’s eyes scanned him for a moment as she smiled at him. He was, indeed, handsome. One could definitely tell that he was a Baratheon. Dark hair, bright eyes, well-built shoulders, and more. His resemblance to Robert and Renly Baratheon was striking. “I just wished to speak with you, Gendry,” she said with a small smile. “I am Margaery of House Tyrell. Please take a seat. I have a proposition for you.” Margaery motioned to the seat across from her as she took a seat herself.
Before she would begin her proposition, she would make certain that he was satisfied and perfectly comfortable. She would have to make him feel welcome so that he would agree to her proposition. “Would you like something to drink or eat? You are my guest.” She turned to one of her handmaidens, requesting three plates of their finest food, some wine, and some tea.
nevercouldlie :
“No, my lady, the tensions are between the crown and anyone that is not a Lannister,” Ned could not understand how Robert could allow such things, but he had begun to think his friend was truly blind to it all. “And their house would be better represented by a snake than a lion,” He spoke candidly. He did not know Renly well, but he remembered him as an eager little boy during the Rebellion and he did not wish to see harm come to him. “The queen trades in secrets and she does not seem keen to have any Baratheons in between her children and the throne.”
Margaery nodded. She had just arrived in King’s Landing and had not had the apt amount of time to assess the situation. However, she could tell that the Lannisters were dangerous. The Queen seemed to be the most dangerous player in King’s Landing which only intrigued the young Rose more. “They have the King surrounded. My grandmother feared that when I left to join my lord husband here at court,” she said. Margaery glanced at their surroundings for a quick moment and then back at Lord Stark. A thought dawned in her mind. There had been rumors of the King’s many bastards but if what Lord Stark was insinuating was true, which it probably was, a terrible thought irked her. “Has she gone after Robert’s other children?”
winterfellswolfqueen :
She couldn’t believe how cold it was. It seemed almost colder than she remembered as she stood in the courtyard and nodded as someone asked her in passing if they should restock some of the meat in the kitchen. Rebuilding was a task that filled her days to their entirety. While Jon counseled with the Wildlings and Northern Lords to come to some kind of agreement over land and the division of power, something he seemed to hate with every breath, she spent a majority of her time getting the castle together, having the servants preparing the meals and living quarters for the men, getting to know the Wilglings and a slew of other things. And it was only now occurring to her that Sansa did not know how her mother used to get it all done. It was tiring work, but quite rewarding. It felt good to be able to do something meaningful, plus finally having her home back…there was nothing in the world that truly made her happier.
The sound of wooden swords slamming against each other drew her attention to the men fighting in the training yard. The slightest hint of a smile tugged at her lips as she remembered her brothers and Arya using the very same yard as they tried to best each other. The loud sound of the men atop the castle near the gates shouting startled Sansa. She frowned waving those who glanced at her with concern off as she gripped the bottom of her dress, slightly lifting the hem so she could move quicker across the courtyard towards the gates. She tensed when she saw the carriage, not entirely sure what to expect. So as not to offend any visitors, she nodded when they asked if they could let the visitors in.
When the carriage came to a stop Sansa frowned, people starting to gather to look upon who was had come to call on them. Sansa stood tall, chin up, head held high as she spoke, her voice crisp, silencing those around them. “Who goes there?”
Margaery’s captain of the guard looked up to the redheaded northern lady and gave a quick bow. “The Queen of the Seven Kingdoms herself, my Lady,” he said. One of the servants opened the carriage door, offering a hand to the Margaery’s ladies as they stepped out of the carriage first, greeting the northerners that had started to gather. Smiling, she took a deep breath and stepped out of the carriage, gently placing her hand on top of the guards in order to steady herself. The small Queen did not even pay attention to the gathering crowd at first as she was focused on carefully and gracefully stepping out of the carriage. Once she had done that, she glanced up to see the gathering crowd. It had been more people than she had expected. However, it did not startle her. She continued to scanning the crowd until she found the one face that she had been looking for.
Oh Sansa.
Her heart stopped momentarily. A happy smile appeared on her cupid bow shaped lips as she saw her friend. Oh how more beautiful Sansa had become. She had grown up. Somehow the little dove had grown into a woman. However, Margaery could tell that an ordeal had truly aged her friend. Her heart dropped momentarily, ashamed that she had not been able to do anything to help her friend. Nevertheless, at the moment, she was too happy and relieved to be reunited with her friend. “My Lady, it has been far too long. It warms my heart to see you in your home,” she said with a happy grin, truly meaning every single word.

Ygritte couldn’t help but laugh as they got a menu. “Okay, well we have to a blowjob because whip cream. And a redheaded slut because that’s me.” She couldn’t help but laugh again. “Do I need to order them or can you do it with a straight face?”
Margaery quirked her right eyebrow and smirked a little at Ygritte’s question. “Of course, I can do it with a straight face. Watch this,” she said with a smile. Then she leaned towards the bar, raising her hand a little, and sharing a smile to catch the bartender’s eyes. When the bartender made his way over to her and Ygritte, she leaned a little closer with a straight face so that he could hear her over the blaring music, asking for their desired drinks. The bartender quickly set about it and then proclaimed the drinks were on him. Once done, she leaned back and turned to Ygritte handing her friend the readhead slut. “Shall we?”

Your godly parent is Athena, Goddess of wisdom and strategy, arts and crafts, battle and reason.
Athena's children are quick-thinking, witty, wise and responsible. As one of them, you are known to think several steps ahead, and plan for every inevitability. Children of Athena are also very sympathetic towards to those in need, and will do anything to help those less unfortunate than them. They also have no problems in sharing their knowledge with others, and you'll find them spouting facts about their favorite things all the time. Children of Athena have lots of patience and motivation, and once they begin a task, they will not rest until they finish it. Athena's children also are plagued with problems of pride and vengeance; they believe they are the best at everything and when crossed, will go to elaborate lengths to exact their payment. Because you appreciate the subtleties of intelligence and strategy, sometime you can be closed off to more emotional intuition and asking for help in these areas can be challenging. Athena gets along very well with Artemis, due to them having similar personalities. Children of Athena are also quite popular, if not for their intelligence, then for their ability to have a conversation with almost anybody.

mother-of-dragonns :
She pulled from the hug, thanking the Gods Margaery was a wonderful person and would help her like this. It was more than she expected from any person. “I do not speak to Rhaegar as much as I would like to, he often times is with Ellia and his children…. I have not told anyone of what he does.” Her voice was full of shame, how could she tell anyone truly what was happening? Viserys would probably only hurt her more if he knew others knew. “My handmaidens know, only for the fact the dress me and see the bruises… They may gossip about themselves, but it never goes anywhere.” The difference between Rhaegar knowing, and her father knowing, Rhaegar would have Viserys sent away to Dragonstone to protect her, while her father would simply wed them and send them to Dragonstone to have children of their own. “Do you think Loras will like me as his wife?”
Margaery nodded at Daenerys’ words. It was understandable that Rhaegar spent a lot of time with his family. It was a sign that he was a good husband. She took a deep breath in slowly. “Good, good, I was worried for a second. You have loyal handmaidens. Thank the Mother,” she said with a small smile before glancing at her hands. Would Loras like Daenerys as a wife? Margaery did not know. She was certain that Loras would enjoy Daenerys’ company. She just wondered if her brother would go through the act of producing an heir with the dragon princess. Her grandmother would make sure of it. Margaery was certain.
longmayshereign-cersei :
She was an ugly little thing, if anyone said that about Margaery Tyrell out loud then they would be laughed out of the room, soft brown hair and doe eyes framed in a pleasant face. She was beautiful.
But it was a shell, simply a shell. Crack it open and all you would find was dark rot, and maggots and worms right down to her core. Every word out of her mouth was nothing but a lie or a half-truth and she could not wait for the day that she would finally silence her forever.
“How very generous you are, we must remember that Tommen maybe a king but he is also still a boy, he still has need of his mother.” Cersei said with a smile of her own.
If Margaery had been less schooled in this game of thrones, then one would have seen the side of her lip twitching as she tried to control a frown. Instead, she simply smiled, letting the knot in her stomach untie. She would move quickly to make sure that Tommen would soon be independent of his mother. It was a great task but Margaery could do it. The further Tommen was away from his mother, the better the Kingdom would be. She was sure of it. So was Olenna Tyrell. “Of course, he is young and full of energy. I would like him to enjoy his youth as much as possible,” she smiled. Tommen deserved the world. Margaery was convinced of that. He was a very dear boy who was very eager to please both her and his mother. However, he could learn. He would be a better student than his brother.
Finally the tea had arrived and was set out in front of them. Margaery waited for the servant to pour the teas and then leave her and Cersei’s presence. “Yes, but we must remember our King’s wishes as well,” she said. “I do what he bids, Lady Mother. Always. He is both my husband and my King.” She paused, motioning to the tea with one simple gesture. “How do you take your tea?”

Cooper Nodded “Yes i do and i also dance there once a while” He said. Cooper looked at her “Romeo” He said. Cooper shook her hand “Nice to meet you” he said. He took a drink of his coffee and then Looked at her “You help run you’re family business that’s really cool you know i never met anyone that done that before” He said
Margaery smiled as he mentioned his favourite role to dance. Romeo. He did seem like the romantic type. He was dashing. She would give him that. Taking a sip of her coffee once more, she nodded at his comment. “I suppose it is a rather rare profession these days. I majored in business at college so I could help out my parents and eldest brother. I felt as if it was my duty to do that. It’s an interesting profession. It’s fulfilling but unfortunately I don’t really get to explore the city much.”
