That requires confidence and social skills he completely lacks and he's sorry if you think he's a lame, yucky otaku because of this!

I definitely think Levi knows how to code games, it's more a matter of what does he get out of doing it? He prefers to play them.

But he made a short game just for you.

It's a cute little game, it doesn't take more than 20 minutes to beat. He has you and him starring as the main characters. You're trying to reach him where he's locked away.

Yes, it sounds slightly cliche.

But you're playing it and he's getting other stuff ready quietly.

He can't take you out to a nice dinner but, with some assistance, he made you a nice dinner. He set up a small table in his room with a candle (provided by Asmo)!

You turn around to look for him when you're done playing the game to see dinner all set up, Levi's a blushing mess who can barely look up from his feet, and he's got a chair pulled out for you.

Reassure him that you're enjoying the holiday and start up a casual conversation. Tell him how much you loved the game, it'll set his heart at ease.

Honestly, his room makes a great dinner spot if you ignore the anime and video game shelves and the collectibles. The aquarium wall provides incredible lighting.

You know those bracelets you can wear and tap on them when you miss your partner? Levi got the Devildom equivalent of that for you two to wear.

The first thing does is tap "I love you".

Satan:

Man is beyond prepared.

He is one of the three who is the most prepared for Valentine's Day with you, especially if it's your very first Valentine's Day as a couple.

He doesn't go extremely fancy like Lucifer, he could because of his connections, but he doesn't want to put that pressure on you.

It's just a day for some extra romance, right?

He found a pretty nice pop-up restaurant to take you to that only operated a few times a year. It had stellar reviews, so he wanted to give it a go with you.

The food was better than a 5-star restaurant in his opinion.

The place wasn't packed, either, as they only took a very small number of guests. He managed to snag one of the available spots.

After your meal, he takes you to the botanical gardens for a walk together and some idle chit-chat.

You two never get bored talking to one another, you can talk about anything and everything under the Devildom sky.

Being together is what really matters to you. It doesn't matter where you go or what you discuss.

He did, however, find a cat cafe he insists on taking you to after you've had time to relax and digest your meal.

What better way to get some added joy in your day than to pet a bunch of cats?? Nothing wrong with this plan.

It's not his actual gift to you, don't worry. He might love cats but he has a proper gift.

He actually spent quite a while putting your present together. It's not just something from the store.

It's a small collection of short stories written by Satan himself.

This is his day to shine even brighter than he already does!

Asmodeus is the third member of the trio who goes above and beyond for the holiday.

Asmo has an entire day planned for the two of you!

He already showers you in affection every single day but Valentine's Day is extra special.

He lets you sleep in, of course, because it would be rude to wake you up earlier than normal.

You do skincare together, eat breakfast, and then he helps you pick out an outfit to match his. Then you're set for your day!

He takes you out to the nicest spa in the city. You get massages, your nails get professionally done, the works. The only thing that doens't happen is a facial because he'll be damned if he lets anyone remove the makeup he did on you. Face masks can be done that night!

You get lunch at this adorable cafe that's all decked out for the holiday.

During lunch, Asmodeus slips a beautiful ring onto your finger with a pink sapphire on it and he wears a matching one. They were extremely expensive but the jeweler cut him an excellent deal (his ability to charm people also helped) if he modeled some jewelry for the store's next advert.

You guys go for a walk and do some window shopping. Asmo restrains himself because he would spend lots of money on the two of you in a heartbeat, but he doesn't want to have to interrupt the day by dropping the bags off at home.

You get an early dinner because now Asmo wants to return home with you.

His room is dimly lit with candles upon your return, a large stuffed animal on his bed with chocolates and flowers. All with your name on them.

You end the day with a hot bath together in the candlelight with Asmo showering you in kisses.

Beelzebub:

Beel isn't the biggest Valentine's Day person.

He doesn't really see the big deal but he likes the holiday because of all the chocolates.

He doesn't have much of a plan, honestly. He wasn't sure what to do that could be any different from what you two usually do.

Our big teddy bear wants to make it a nice day because he wants to see you happy. He wants you to like this romantic holiday with him. No regrets.

Yes, he does take you out to eat. I'm not fond of food being his only fucking personality trait, but it is important to him in other ways.

Food tastes so much better when he can eat it with you. You make meals more than just eating. They're enjoyable.

You two eat and talk for a while before you walk around for a bit.

Honestly, he's just trying to think of things to do with you so that the date doesn't end.

He enjoys every single second spent with you.

He doesn't consider himself very smart but everything he does is heartfelt.

If you see something that catches your eye while you're out then he buys it for you. Not even an ounce of hesitation either.

If you get too tired then he'll carry you around for a bit.

He did get you a big box of chocolates and no he didn't eat even a single one. Those were for you, he was going to restrain himself.

You share them with him anyway because they taste sweeter that way.<3

You do get home to a really nice dinner waiting and the house empty, save for Levi who is holed up in his room and Belphie who is snoozing in the attic.

Satan, Asmo, and Lucifer put together a lovely meal for you guys to share at the table and Asmo added the candles.

He shyly gives you a necklace that he found in a small shop. It's an enchanted locket with his image in it and he has a matching one with yours.

Belphegor:

He forgot all about it, please don't be mad at him.

Asmodeus asked him, like, three days before Valentine's Day what his plans with you were and he choked.

Man's not the biggest romantic in the world and doesn't see the point of Valentine's Day.

Asmo chastised him and told him he needed to do something. Even if it was small!

The day came and he didn't do anything grand or spectacular.

Big, fancy dates and expensive gifts aren't his style. He didn't want to be someone he wasn't for a day.

But he didn't want you to be upset that he didn't do anything at all either.

He planned to do something bigger on your next Valentine's Day together. This time, though, he planned to keep it small.

You genuinely thought he forgot or didn't care at first. He was nowhere to be seen. You didn't even see any chocolates around besides the ones the others gave you.

Belphie was having them distract you while he got the attic prepped and ready to go.

He brought you upstairs to a fully decorated attic.

Nothing cutesy like hearts, but he strung up a bunch of fairy lights and built a fort for the two of you. A massive one at that.

Inside the fort it was a cozy nest of blankets and pillows. There was a small movie player, some chocolates, two mugs of hot chocolate, and a stuffed cow.

Said the cow was so that you'd think of him.

Going out on fancy dates isn't his thing, so he did something more in line with his personality.

You two shared the chocolates and watched your favorite movies for a while.

You both did end up falling asleep in that cozy fort, snuggled up together and pretty much inseparable.

He was honestly worried that you didn't have a good day, but you reassured him that it was perfect.

He didn't plan on letting you go for the rest of the night.

He didn't want to get involved with their childish antics, but with enough push from MC, he caved and joined in

Taking things a little too seriously per Lucifer's style, he was practically sniper shooting his brothers, hitting them directly in the face with each shot from his water gun

When MC came into his sights, he aimed for their head, but somehow missed, hitting them directly in their chest and soaking through their shirt

He froze when he saw their skin being exposed, nipples perking from the coolness of the water and peaking through the fabric; so distracted by the sight that he got a face full of water from Mammon

Bellowing the demon's name, he chased him down and practically drowned him in the water filling his own gun

But that image of MC would be stuck in his head for quite a long time to come

Mammon:

Mammon was running all around the beach, shooting anyone who came into the line of fire from his water gun

He got off a few good shots on Satan and Asmo, who both attempted to retaliate, chasing him up to where the eldest and MC were working on the barbeque

Mammon aimed to get a shot in at Satan once more, but missed completely, dousing MC in water and soaking their shirt

His mouth slacked a bit when he noticed how exposed they were under the fabric, seeing the full outline of their chest and their nipples begining to perk

When he saw his brothers also staring, he flared at them for it, taking his over shirt and draped it over MC to cover them, shooing his brothers off

He was flushed completely red as he apologized for spraying them, telling them they could keep his shirt to hide in until theirs dried off

Leviathan:

This demon was ready for the water fight, complete with several water guns as well as several filled water balloons

Anyone foolish enough to get close to his sand fortress would get doused completely as he hid behind the walls in safety

MC made the mistake of walking by and without warning, he jumped up and called to them, spraying them directly in the face and chest

He roared with laughter, making fun of MC for being so naive as to walk by his perfectly built encampment, before his face flushed deeply at the sight of them

Their shirt clung to their form, exposing everything beneath it, including the peaks of their---

Levi flew into a panic before he could even finish the though, running out of his hideout to drag MC inside with him; he would be damned if he would allow his other brothers to see them like that

And it totally wasn't because he wanted the sight all to himself, not at all

Satan:

Sneaky and cunning, despite it being a simple water gun fight, Satan never missed his mark

He managed to score a direct hit on Asmo's face as well as Beel's, and even got one over on Lucifer despite being chased around the beach front for a bit for it

His next target was that of MC, who was currently chasing Mammon and try to drench the demon with water balloons

He hid next to the shower stalls, waiting for them to run by, and once ready, he jumped out, spraying them a few times over

The sputtered and grumbled at him while he laughed out loud at first; but he choked on the sound for second, taking them in

They weren't wearing anything underneath their shirt, their chest becoming fully exposed to him through the thin fabric

Clearly the water must feel very cold for them...

He offered his over shirt to them, not truly explaining why he wanted them to use it to cover up; but the deep flush in his cheeks gave them a good idea

Asmodeus:

His goal was the get every single one of them with a water balloon; absolutely drench everyone

He ran around with a bucket full of them, and managed to get Belphie, Satan, and Mammon each one left a spluttering mess in his wake

He saw Lucifer and MC perched under an umbrella, sitting and talking with one another; the perfect opportunity to score a hit on both of them

He snuck up on them, trying not to call attention to himself (despite how he usually would try to be) and when the time was right, launched several balloons at the two of them

Somehow Lucifer managed to dodge them, but MC took the brunt of the water, getting completely drenched

Asmo noticed immediately how the water made their shirt cling to their form, exposing everything, and he openly teases them for not wearing anything underneath, making a remark about how they must feel freezing thanks to the water

Before MC could make a remark back, Lucifer began chasing after Asmo for attempting to get him wet as well

Beelzebub:

MC was the one who put the water gun in his hand, and it was pretty much all over for everyone after that

He would chase his brothers down and shoot them directly in the face, leaving them a soaked and sputtering mess as he chased after another soon after

MC was his last target and they booked it as hard as they could to get out of his reach; but they weren't quite fast enough

He absolutely drenched them in water, leading to a small wrestling war over the water gun, as they both tumbled into the sand laughing

But when Beel pulled away, he froze a bit when he noticed that despite wearing a shirt, he could see everything of MC's chest, making him fluster beside himself

He mumbled out a small "Sorry" when he pointed out what he could see, and MC ran up to get a towel to cover up with to not fluster the demon further

Belphegor:

Lazy Belphie is usually lazy, but he was surprisingly enthusiastic to get involved with the water gun fight

His main goal was to get Lucifer, but anyone who crossed his path would be a victim as well, getting doused over and over

Poor MC made their way towards him, and all he did was smirk evilly at them, before turning his water gun on them

He shot them a few times, head falling back with laughter as they huffed and swatted at his chest

But when he looked back at them, his smile twitched a little

They were exposed through the thin, wet fabric, their nipples on full display and peaked, tenting against their chest

He swallowed and pulled them tight against him then, holding them very close

"Here, come cuddle with me. That way you don't have to deal with my brothers seeing you like this, ya know?" Gives the cheekiest grin as well

Diavolo:

Of course our Demon Prince wishes to be involved in the merriment, and readily gets the biggest water gun he can find to chase everyone around with

He scores hit after hit on the demon brothers; even Lucifer, though it seemed pretty obvious that he didn't move and took the shot on purpose

Anyway, Dia began chasing down Mammon, when MC came into his sights

He calls for their attention, and as soon as they turn to face him, he sprays them directly in the face and chest, doubling over laughing at their gargled and annoyed cry

When he straightens to apologize to them, he notices that the soaked shirt leaves them rather exposed underneath, skin and nipples on full display

He clears his throat and offers them his shirt, apologizing further for his actions, with the slightest hint of red to his tan cheeks

Barbatos:

Another demon who will rarely get involved with the antics of the brothers; that is until Diavolo (and sometimes MC) convince him to

He honestly doesn't need to leave his standing post, managing to get a shot off on every single being that walks by him with perfect precision

Apparently MC decided they were going to try and get on over on the butler by sneaking up behind him with several water balloons

Only for him to turn on them and pop every single one right in their face and chest

He chuckles a bit at their drenched form, though clears his throat a bit when he notices their nipples and skin showing through their shirt

He offers them a towel with dry off with, apologizing for getting them so wet with the slightest time to his cheeks

Simeon:

Simeon isn't one for violence, even in a playful variant, so he kind of keeps to himself in the shade of an umbrella

That is until MC runs up to him, gets his attention, and nails him directly in the face with a water balloon

Okay. It's on now human

Gathers several water balloons and gives chase, throwing them every so often to try and get them back

He finally gets them cornered near the showers where he pelts them with a few balloons, both of them laughing wholeheartedly at the exchange

His laughing falters slightly, though, when he notices just how exposed he made them by drenching them so

He looks away and addresses the issues, making MC fluster a bit as well, but they managed to grab a town from the shower stalls to cover up with

Poor angel is going to be plague with that image for a long time to come

Solomon:

This sorcerer lives for the chaos, and runs around with two full water guns, firing at anything that moves

Laughs almost maniacally as he gets Mammon and Levi directly in the face, and he soon finds himself chasing down MC as well

They try to shoot at him first but he manages to avoid getting wet, spraying them multiple times over and over until they fall over into the sand

He drops next to them and wrestles with them a bit in the sand, until they both are a tangled mess, laughing with each other

Of course their predicament didn't go unnoticed; their exposed chest now being slightly pressed to his own

But he tries not to call attention to it, keeping them pinned a bit underneath him as he teases them for being a horrible shot

and it’s not the fall, where he can temporarily drown his insecurities in demonus and loud music, nor the casino where he ignores his anxiety with a game of poker.

no, he needs a long–lasting remedy which can easily enter his bloodstream and heal all of the bad things inside of him.

and the only place he can find such a thing is wherever you are.

he trudges through your doorway, closing it quietly behind him; knocking isn’t a norm, the great mammon enters as he pleases. but you notice something which isn’t the norm, and that’s mammon entering quietly instead of barging in with a “hey, where’s my human at?!”

“mammon,” you shove your textbooks to the side, making room for him on your mattress. “i haven’t seen you all day, where have you been?”

his head hangs low, and his shoulders droop in the same direction. concern covers your face and you pull him closer to you.

slumping against your body, he rests his forehead on your shoulder. the weight of his body pressing against you feels heavier today; he’s had a difficult day.

“come on,” you shuffle backwards, giving extra care to not losing contact with him or else he might break from the loss of your touch. moving towards the pillows, you lay flight while mammon collapses against your torso. his head buries itself deep into your tummy and his arms hug your hips like they’re the only solace he finds in this world. “is that better?”

nodding slightly, he snuggles further into your body and you lower your hand to him. his face is hidden even when you brush his messy bangs away from his face, and a long sigh escapes him — a whisper of how profoundly bad his day was.

“wanna talk about it?”

mammon remains still and silent for a few moments. the only sound filling the room are the gentle scratches of your nails running across his scalp and your synced breathing.

before long, he exhales into the quiet.

“no…not yet.”

your heart swells for him; very rarely do you see him like this and it makes you swear to destroy whatever it was that caused him to feel so disdained.

alas, you stay in place because the only thing you can do right now is comfort him.

“that’s okay,” you whisper. “we can stay like this for as long as you need.”

the discreet flex of his arms around you almost goes unnoticed, but you know it’s his acknowledgement — or thanks — for consoling him until his demons go away. you return his tightened hold with one of your own, imprisoning him in your protection, both physical and emotional.

Summary: The brothers have had a particularly hard day, and you decide to make their favorite dinner to cheer them up. Unfortunately, it backfires, and now they’ve accidentally made you upset. It’s their turn to cheer you up instead.

“Watch it, stupid human!” Mammon hissed as he passed by you in the hall, bumping your shoulder and nearly knocking you to the ground. 

“O-Oh, sorry Mammon!” You called after him, but he didn’t even turn back to you. 

“Listen here, human,” He growled over his shoulder, “I have five tests I have to get through today and like, a million assignments due tonight, so stay the hell out of my way today, got it?!” 

You didn’t even get a chance to respond before he had disappeared around the corner and into a classroom. 

You sighed, gaze falling to your shoes as you solemnly made your way to your first period class. 

This was not the first of these “mishaps” to happen today.

It seems that all of the brothers had some reason or another to be stressed; they all had important exams scheduled for today, and not to mention their countless other responsibilities outside of school. 

Like Satan, who wasn’t supposed to be working after school today but had been booked for a shift anyways because his boss was, as he so elegantly put it, “a huge fucking asshole with no respect for anyone but himself.” The harsh words hadn’t been directed at you, but the icy cold glare he gave you while he said them made it feel that way. 

Or Lucifer, who was up to his eyes in paperwork. He wasn’t sure how but it was ten times worse that usual, and each new paper on his desk was another grey hair. His head was pounding with a stress induced migraine that never seemed to really go away. He says he’s had a headache for the past hundred years. 

Or Asmodeus, who had a photo shoot directly after school that would run for god knows how long, and she simply could not find a way to squeeze in any homework despite the fact that he was swamped with it at the moment. He was in too deep to cancel the shoot now, which meant his grades would surely suffer. Not to mention that the stress would surely give him acne, which was only making her stress out more!

The entire day it felt like they were rushing past you without so much as a glance, often disrupting you with their franticness and sometimes even rudeness. You knew they didn’t mean it, but it still hurt when Lucifer angrily snapped at you or Satan sent a sarcastic comment your way. 

Fortunately, you knew just how to lighten the mood! 

Although you didn’t fancy yourself a chef, the brothers always loved when you cooked authentic human food. Even something like mac and cheese was enough to cheer them up after a long day. You decided on a simple pasta recipe, something filling and easy to make for so many people. 

You were only halfway through when you heard Lucifer enter the kitchen behind you. 

“Oh, Lucifer! I was hoping you’d be a bit later, I have a surprise cooking…” 

“What?” 

Oh. He didn’t sound nearly as happy as you were hoping. 

“W-Well, remember that pasta you all loved? I decided to make it for you! I figured it would take dinner duty off your hands and maybe make you all feel better after such a rough day, so—“ 

“Human, I already had everything ready for what I was going to make.” 

His voice had a slight growl to it, a clear sign of his anger. 

“I know,” You sighed, “b-but I thought—“

“Well you thought wrong. My brothers are already expecting the casserole I was going to make, and I already went through the work of prepping and storing the ingredients so I could just throw it together when I got home. Everything’s been so upside down today, I just want this one thing to stay on schedule.”

You really couldn’t blame him for that one. If there was one thing Lucifer hated, it was when plans changed. He needed everything to have an order, and if it didn’t he would get very upset very easily.

“Lucifer, I know you’re stressed, but you’re clearly exhausted. Why don’t you go rest while—“ 

“No, human!” 

Seems that was the final straw. Although it wasn’t rare for Lucifer to get heated when scolding his brothers, he never raised his voice at you like that. 

“I don’t care what you think you’re doing, I need you out! You can make your stupid pasta another night. The last thing I need is for you to muck up the one thing that hasn’t already been ruined today, so I suggest you scurry off to your room and stay there!”

You stumbled back, nearly falling before you caught yourself on the counter. You couldn’t look him in the eyes; you couldn’t even stand the thought of being in the same room. You could feel the familiar burning in your throat and the way your chest tightened as the tears began to fill up your eyes and blur your vision. You decided to give him what he wanted, and ran upstairs to your room as fast as you could. You passed Beel on the way, who opened his mouth to greet you but hardly got out a syllable as you rushed past. He could tell something was terribly wrong from the way you hid your face and teary eyes, and the way you slammed your door. 

He immediately headed to the kitchen, only to see a half stunned Lucifer staring at the doorway you ran out of. He turned his attention away when he saw Beel, though, pretending that nothing was wrong. When his brother inquired about what had happened, Lucifer merely shrugged. He was overcome with emotion; yes, he felt terrible for scaring you off, but he also had six brothers who needed dinner and so many other tasks to worry about that he couldn’t make himself take pause. He figured he would deal with it later. 

You had collapsed beside your bed and hid your face in your knees. You didn’t know what else to do. You’d lost your appetite and certainly didn’t want to go down for dinner, and you didn’t want to bother any of the brothers after everything that had happened. You had tried hard not to be upset and especially not to cry, to tell yourself that he didn’t mean it, but it didn’t matter. The fact that Lucifer would ever treat you that way—that ANY of the brothers would treat you the way they had today—was simply too much. 

Beel was the first one to come see you. He knocked about fifteen minutes after you’d first shut yourself in, calling your name and asking if it was okay to enter. All you could muster was a hum in response. 

He opened the door slowly, sticking his hand in first and revealing that he was holding a bag of blood strawberry candies. This specific kind were incredibly hard to find, limited edition with special colors, which means that he must’ve pulled them out of his secret stash. 

“Hey, you alright?” He asked as he poked his head in, and you gave no response. 

“Sorry, stupid question. Can I sit with you?” 

You only nodded, scooting over a bit and making room for him. 

“Want one?” He held out the open bag to you and shook it. 

You reached your hand in and took one, putting it in your mouth without so much as a word. Beel did the same, though he preferred to munch on an entire handful at once. You both sat in silence for a few moments, and Beel didn’t speak until he had swallowed. 

“So, wanna talk about it?” 

You weren’t really sure. You just shrugged. It would feel nice to get it off your chest, sure, but venting to Beel about how mean he and his brothers had been today would feel terrible, even if Beel wasn’t anywhere near the worst offender. 

“…Can I take a guess?” 

You nodded once more, slipping your hand into the bag for another few candies. 

“Well, I saw Lucifer in the kitchen. He seemed pretty shaken up. Does that have do with it?”

Your silence was all the answer he needed. 

“I figured. Look, I…I know we haven’t been the nicest today. I think we all owe you an apology. We’re all stressed and tensions were crazy high, though that’s not an excuse…and I’m sorry for growling at you at lunch. I was really hungry…” 

You couldn’t help but giggle at that last part. It was kind of shocking at the time, but you could laugh at it now. 

You had many of these kinds of talks with Beelzebub. He was the most emotionally intelligent of the brothers, he just didn’t speak enough to let it on. The truth was he saw and heard everything, he was just better at picking his battles and shutting his trap than the others. Whenever it was just you and him, though, he always found a way to open your eyes. As long as he wasn’t hungry he was calm, cool and collected, and hardly anything bothered him. 

“It’s okay, Beel…thank you.” 

He sighed in relief when he finally heard you speak. He moved in a bit closer, allowing you to rest your head on his shoulder. 

The next one to visit was Mammon, who was not near as subtle has his brother. He came barging in, clearly worried, and had to be shushed by Beel when he yelled your name. 

“Shit, sorry…” He muttered, making sure to close the door extra quietly. 

“Beel sent a text to the family group chat, are you okay?” Mammon looked you over for a few seconds, and when he didn’t see anything physically wrong, he sat down on the opposite side of you from Beel. 

“I’m a little better now, thanks…” 

Mammon was silent for a few moments, mouth hanging half open as he tried to find words. Eventually he gave up on words all together, instead reaching into the bag you’d just noticed he brought with him. He pulled out a small bouquet of flowers, all fresh and dewy, and your favorite color too.

“Look, I know I was kind of an ass today…okay, I was a TOTAL ass today—“

He paused to smile at your laughter. Good, he was doing this right. 

“—A-And I know this doesn’t make up for it, but I’m not good with words so…I figured I would do better if I could give you something with my apology…” 

You gently took the flowers from his hand, taking a deep breath and inhaling their subtle scent. Mammon stared at you expectantly, watching for any sign of disapproval. Fortunately, he found absolutely none. 

“Thank you, Mammon. Apology accepted.” You punctuated your sentence with a kiss on his cheek, making his face heat up a bit.

“Hey, can I have one too?” Beel asked through a mouthful of candy, and of course you had to oblige. 

The next two were Satan and Asmodeus, who as usual came as a packaged deal. 

“Hey love, how are you doing?” Asmodeus asked in a soft tone. When it came to comfort, he was the best in the whole Devildom. Satan trailed in behind him, hugging a book to his chest. 

“I’m okay, Asmo.” 

“I’m sure you are, but I’m about to make you much better.”

Asmo presented you with a small white box, which he opened to reveal a red velvet cupcake with a heart sugar topper. 

“I saw this in the window of a shop today, and I just had to get it for you. A treat as sweet as my human!” She booped your nose playfully before closing the box and setting it to the side.

He took your hand in his gently, stroking your knuckles with his thumb. 

“Satan here isn’t much for apologies, so I agreed to do his for him. I am very, so very sorry for how rude I was today, love bug. And Satan is very sorry for being a…what was it? ‘Total fucking asshole?’” 

“Watch it, Asmo,” Satan scolded, but his feigned glare quickly turned into a grin at Asmo’s sly giggle. 

“It’s okay guys, really. You didn’t have to do all this…” You assured them. You felt sort of guilty to be honest, getting such unusual special treatment from them even if the attention was nice.

“Don’t talk like that love,” Asmodeus replied, “I have no idea what came over us today, but you could at least give us a chance to make up for it.”

“Besides, it’ll give me a chance to make Lucifer look bad, so I’m all in.” Satan joked. He and Asmo both settled in next to you as well. 

Leviathan was next, awkwardly standing in the doorway for a few moments before speaking. 

“U-Uh, I wasn’t really sure what the state of things would be when I walked in, so—“

He held up the variety of things he had brought, sporting a lopsided smile. 

“—I have ear defenders, some chewelry, and that really soft blanket I know you love. Y-You can keep it all for as long as you need.” 

Levi knelt in front of you and pushed all the offerings towards you. Your hand hovered over all of them, but eventually you decided on the blanket. You held it close and rubbed it against your face, relishing the blissfully mellow texture and the subtle smell of Levi’s room before wrapping it around yourself. 

Levi tried to contain himself, to take time to find the right words the way you’d taught him, but he was so overcome with emotion he couldn’t wait. 

“Oh gosh, I’m so sorry!” He blurted out, louder than he meant to be. “Shoot, sorry…I-I don’t mean to yell, I just feel terrible. I didn’t even realize how mean I was being at the time but then I thought about how awful it would feel if you were saying it to me, and—a-and—“ 

“Shhh, it’s okay Levi. I’ve already forgiven you.” 

This stopped him dead in his tracks. He quickly shut his mouth, looking down at the floor in slight embarrassment. You reached a hand up to gently stroke his cheek as you thanked him for the thoughtfulness he had shown. 

Belphegor slinked in a minute or so later, yawning as he greeted you. 

“Am I late to the party? Sorry, I was asleep. That was the first nap I’ve managed to have all day. Guess that’s why I was being so cranky…” 

Belphegor lazily trudged over, his exhaustion clear on his face as he laid his head in your lap. 

“Sorry about that, by the way. Hope you didn’t wanna punch my lights out too badly.” 

“Oh come now Belphie, I would never.” You argued, reaching down to scratch his head. He stretched and pushed into the touch, sighing with relief when you found just the right spot. He got comfortable very quickly, almost immediately drifting off to sleep. 

There was a sizable gap between Belphie’s arrival and Lucifer’s. He had seen the text when it first came out, but tried to ignore it. When no one, not even Beel came down for dinner, though, he knew he had to go see you. He paced around the kitchen for twenty minutes before finally gathering the courage. 

The sound of your door opening made everyone freeze as they looked over. Lucifer’s expression was hard to decipher; you couldn’t tell if he was sad, angry, guilty, or all of the above. 

He was silent as he walked over, eyes fixated on you even though you were looking anywhere but him. He knelt down in front of you, letting out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding as he started to speak. 

“Human…” He began slowly, feeling the eyes of all six of his brothers, scrutinizing every move he made. He sort of deserved it, though. After such a terrible screw up his apology had to be perfect. 

“I’ve come to say that I’m…sorry for how I’ve been acting.” 

This made you look up with wide eyes. You expected him to beat around the bush, if you’re being completely honest. You’d heard Lucifer “apologize,” sure, but never once actually say “sorry,” his pride wouldn’t let him. 

The most surprising part though, was that he kept going. 

“I was dismissive of you all day, and on top of that I yelled at you when you were only trying to help because I always need to do things myself. I’m sorry. You deserve better than that—“ 

He was cut off when you had suddenly wrapped him in a tight hug, squeezing him with all your might. It took him a few moments to process what had happened, but when he did he hesitantly returned the gesture. 

“I forgive you, Luci…” You whispered, just loud enough for him to hear. 

He patted your back, allowing you to pull away from the hug when you were ready instead of pushing you away. He couldn’t help but gaze into your eyes for a bit longer than he meant to when you withdrew from the hug. 

“Alright then,” He began as he stood back up, leaving everyone else quite confused. “We’ve got dinner downstairs that’s going to be cold soon, so how about you all help me bring it upstairs and we’ll eat in here instead?”

“Woah, really?!” Mammon gasped, “You never let us eat in our rooms! Wow, you must feel really shitty!” 

This promptly earned him an elbow to the ribs from Asmodeus. 

“Don’t worry human, I’ll grab yours for you,” Lucifer said right as you began to stand. “You stay here.” 

Each brother gave you a kiss on the cheek as they left, some lingering longer than others. When no one was looking, though, Lucifer pulled you into a real kiss before he too was out the door (though not before flashing you a smile). 

You sat there for a while, enjoying the silence and your own company, when you felt your DDD go off. It was a text from Lucifer.
