My expectations going into chapter 1: It's probably going to be a fluffy chapter. Maybe MC traveling with their love interest post timeskip. Reestablishing the status quo after some time has passed. A lot of callbacks to the first book and stuff. And somewhere in the end we will probably get a the plot hook for the main plot of book 2.
