My ideal top 4 for as7 at the beginning of the season was Jinkx, Raja, Shea, and Jaida
Before we found out the actual top 4, it had become Jinkx, Raja, Jaida, and Trinity
But my guess for the top 4 was Jinkx, Trinity, Jaida, and maybe Viv or still holding out hope for Raja
The only issue I have with the top 4 is Monet like not to be a hater but sjkdkdkdl She’s fine, just def not a fav like Jinkx, Shea, or Trinity. And I would have much preferred Raja or Jaida up there. And even Viv.
I kind of had a feeling that production would make sure Shea got to the top via a twist, like I was thinking that weeks ago. And as soon as they announced that I had basically determined that Shea was def going to be top 4. And like Monet definitely deserved the variety show win, but like damn I just don’t see her on the level as some of the other queens I’ve been naming. Like obviously she’s a great performer and entertainer, but she’s not queen of all queens in my mind, not even close.
Bottom line tho: Jinkx is going to win. If Jinkx doesn’t win, I’m rioting.
I just rewatched season 5, and man like Jinkx has had such an incredible amount of growth since season 5. And even IN season 5, Jinkx totally represented a form of drag that is a HUGE part of drag at large but was a largely under-loved on the show: campy, singing, dancing drag. Jinkx is a true individual, so unique, so funny, so skillful, so talented. And now her outfits and makeup are also GORGEOUS. Jinkx’s win felt revolutionary (even more so than Sharon’s). And like for Jinkx to win as7, it would only be right.
I’m saying all of this just in hopes that I will be vindicated by history.
Also, my HOPE is that Raja wins the queen of she already done has her’s’s or whatever. But I could also see Jaida winning that. But Raja would BY FAR be the more satisfying win for me.
