the one issue i read last night of billy going to gotham because he wanted more villains since freddy razzed him for fighting an alligator in a suit was like the only one out of the 2018 run that had rights

the thing that sticks out for me with billy compared to other teen superheroes is that like. yeah they look like kids and are clearly labeled as like the young avengers or teen titans or whatever but he never got that. he looks like an adult and so he gets treated like an adult and expected to act like an adult but people either don’t know he’s a kid or if they do, i think they forget sometimes and he’s just trying his best to figure all this out because while yeah his “secret identity” is a teenage boy he doesn’t get the opportunity to be a teen hero, he’s a full-grown adult and the weight and expectations that come with being an adult can be way too much
