I HAVE NO FUCKIN CLUE WHAT to do with this design! I made it on a whim thinking about playing warframe with one of my caliban fashions and it kinda just......became its own character? its a Knight with a theme of nightmares using visuals of Teeth, Eyes, Veins and a Heart for a chestplate. no name as this was a spark of the moment design.
Ive finally Settled on the fact I'm Nonbinary for a while Ive been questioning my gender but I finally realize Im most comfortable Identifying as such.
Fire Witch
Shoutout to Dark Souls 3's "Fire Witches" still being my favorite basic enemies in the series. their design and stature is imposing but what really elevates them is their Animations, Sound Design, and Attention to detail
the first time you hear one walking the streets before you even see it is a pant shitting moment especially after you turn around and see it surrounded by 6 other enemies, then it slams its staff (halberd) into the ground and you KNOW your ass is about to be fried. their actual attack animations feel just a bit more Calculated than the Pontiff Knights or any other enemies in the region and the way they walk around in that very stiff posture as the robes and short cape flow behind them is perfect! then you put on the armour and you start just...noticing the little things The chestplate is almost a perfect ribcage with its own spine, the Little decorative gold trimmings (likely a left over part of their past as Gwyndolins Silver Knights) then the even smaller details, the shoulder and hip plates have runic circles chaotically engraved into them, the ever so light scratches and nicks in the armor.
They arent perfect I wish their halberd/staff head was made of broken Silver Knight Swords and unfortunately gameplay wise they're still in that part of the game where enemies still have very basic slow kits with no real surprises after your first encounter but I still love them, In my eyes fromsoft has yet to top them Visually and thats even keeping Carian and Zamor Knights in mind although the maidens get pretty close they shoulda been explored way more tho >:[. I do kinda think they would have been 10x more scary if they did a mix of frost and fire magic like in their concept art, maybe frost emanates from their bodies causing Ice build up or they could have been given a few Ice spells but hey this was froms first foray into frost there werent really a lot of spells in this category to begin with. over all Still my faves I love these enemies >:]

Bit of a grim thought occurred that would unironically make a good writing prompt for a short story or film but like...
Imagine being the last surviving individual of an entire age of history after a mass extinction?
Imagine being the last dinosaur to survive the KPG extinction event
What seems like everlasting darkness, choking soot in the air and probably worst of all No food to eat that your body can digest, No other dinosaurs around just skittering little mammals beneath your feet and tint birds following you.
Again grim idea sorry I just thought of it and realized "man this would make a really grim horror short film" ;v;
Or I guess the more proper term would be...thriller?
Definitely more on the existential side maybe psycological depending how writing and animating pan out

I remember testing this out on my 80 int 50 Dex build at the time so excited my favorite weapon class was getting a Catalyst Hybrid from my Favorite faction and then becoming so
...so livid cause BACK IN MY DAY at max upgrade this thing was getting outdamaged by the basic rapier (magic infusion) and its spells were being out damaged BY AN UNUPGRADED STONE DIGGERS STAFF!! LIKE....WHAT!?!?!?!?!
Im glad it got buffed Im still sad its more of a lower int build weapon (that your still discouraged from using in the off hand) but at least it...functions ;v;
I will not be convinced this isnt 90% of Inferno interactions (affectionate)
Looking for advice
Question for Fellow animators out there as someone still kinda practicing and studying. is it...normal to feel...afraid? like you aren't getting good enough? like you'll never be good enough? l struggle a lot already with not completing a lot of art pieces I do but now I'm seeing that same effect 10 fold in my animation and I just... I want to be good I love animating when I do its nice almost therapeutic at times and if I can I'd love to do this for a living but I just feel like I'm running in place. I've been on a bit of a long break and I'm gonna continue to stay on this break till I'm feeling better mentally but this is one of the many big things eating away at my mental health and I just...need to get bits and pieces out there. Sorry for the very negative post I'm not ready to do more artwork right now so I'll be heading back to my tower to Ponder my many Orbs I just needed to get this off my chest.
