A dragon covered with elegant silver scales. It uses the Qurio to drain the life energy of other living creatures, creeping around at night and attacking its prey from behind. It appears almost regal to start with, but after draining enough energy it can turn a violent, fresh-blood crimson. This form is known as the "Bloodening" and is widely feared.

Was randomly reminded of my most "no thoughts, head empty" moments in Monster Hunter. Special mention to:
Doing the Rampage with my partner in Rise, my hunter getting knocked over by a monster, and me panning the camera and seeing three Zinogres running up the path. In that moment, my brain did not know how to articulate "oh shit, many Zinogres are approaching" so I just yelled "DOGGOOOS" instead as if that was supposed to communicate anything.
After spending the entirety of Sunbreak being like "hell yeah vampire dragon" and getting to fight Malzeno for the first time, I got grabbed and saw it proceed to drink my hunter's blood Dracula style and my immediate response was yelling "OHH THAT'S SO COOOL" with no regard for whether or not I was about to face my demise.
Primordial Malzeno, more like Primordial King Von what the fuck are they feeding that guy, me and my friend have been trying him for a few days now and we keep getting our ass handed 💔
I decided to play a bit more of mhs3 yesterday (I'm still procrastinating on working towards 100%) and decided to get a new child/speed monstie and then the second I hatch the little dumbass and call him in to get a look (never used Malzeno, because unfortunately most of the monsters I wanted are FUCKING SPEED) instead of landing my new idiot child decides to just. sit in the air for no reason. he didn't fly down, didn't move, just sat up there flapping his wings and staring. I had to move away and whistle him to get him down. Anyway I named him Meta because he's a Malzeno but water element so blue. to the surprise of no one honestly. (he has a lot of leveling to do before he catches up with my usual team)
