just finished deltarune chapter five… so sorry to my parents who kept hearing my scream “WHAT” at every new twist

some of the highlights of the first play through (before i scour the internet for what i’ve missed)(very much spoilers below):

this is the first chapter that i’ve found the egg on, and also the first chapter i’ve played entirely blind

dessriel crumbs…..

every flowery anime cutaway was a punch to the throat

speaking of flowery, what is jarona? also some of his voice clips almost sounded backwards idk

shoutout again to my mom for listening to my ramble about the platformer mechanic it’s genuinely so well done even if i felt like i was playing silksong at times

i also found the secret boss and beat her (eventually). i loved the fight so much even if i had to set it down multiple times after dying. all of her sprites are so awesome

speaking of sprites, all of the ralsei & susie text box sprites during the justice section were immaculate they’re becoming reaction images fs

also susie lives in the dark world now???

overall a gorgeous chapter in every way and i cannot wait to see actual analysts tear it apart

I just got my wisdom teeth (all 4) taken out this morning and mentioned that my lips are numb from the general anesthesia.
