How did you afford your diploma in makeup, also I totally wish we could be friends. You are so super pretty and like makeup ^_^

Why don't you come off anon and maybe we can be friends? I worked and saved for a long time and I also had help from my mother as I moved to Brisbane and started the course up there at the same time. It was pretty extensive.

I wanna become a make-up artist and i really want to work for MAC or sephoria how would i get a job with them?

Well I guess there are a number of ways. Usually having a background in makeup is needed. I have a diploma in makeup and special effects. Things like; impressive CV, looking the part, knowing background knowledge and dressing to appropriate the businesses outlook and style is also key.

To be honest, I just walked into MAC with my resume and got a call for an interview five minutes later haha. If you don't have a background in makeup, I would suggest doing a makeup short course, practising on your friends and taking some professional photos of your work. It may better your chances of getting a trial if they can see you have natural talent. Sorry if this isn't much help.

if you follow the paintbrush with your eyes while not moving your head, it forces you to use emdr which is a therapeutic technique to calm anxiety/panic. watching fish swim causes the same effect.

I don’t have a favorite post on Tumblr, I don’t have things that I ‘always’ reblog.

But this is one thing I love seeing on my dash, I love having it on my blog, it really helps to calm me down and its amazing.

If watching fish does the same thing, no wonder I spent an hour in one of those tunnel things, while my friends were telling me to hurry up.
