Day 26
I didn't want to do anything today, but I read what are those exercises from book about, so I have a bit of a clue now, but still did not do them.

Day 26
I didn't want to do anything today, but I read what are those exercises from book about, so I have a bit of a clue now, but still did not do them.
Day 25
I've read all the theory about 6th chakra and got stuck on exercises, because I didn't have a chance to sit alone in some quiet space.. will see how it goes next days.
Day 24
I was re-reading what I've read already and continued further. This part was about 6th chakra - how it works, about images, magic and imaginations. Some examples were really interesting. Also I tried to do one exercise from LonerWolf. I don't remember exact article now. It was about seeing images in "before sleep state". I don't rember how they called that, but it was interesting. And it was only 2nd time I managed to see something except darkness.
Day 17-23
I did some catch up, read few articles from LonerWolf (links are in my spreadsheet) and started with reading about 6th chakra, but because I was on trip and then got cold, I didn't have time or I had troubles to focus on what I'm reading, so I did not much.
Day 11-16
Ok. There is some serious catching up before me. I read a bit more from book and I spent too much time on this article by LonerWolf with reading and making notes, that I donât think Iâll do much else today. I reccomend to read it. It is about blockades of Crown chakra and how to heal it.
Day 10
- attention and intention = connected... my attention (to something out there) follows my intention (which comes from within).
- don't let your beliefs stand against your dream(s)
- beliefs are thoughts or convinctions, that something is 100% true - it is possible to change them, they can be positive (strengthening) and negative (limiting), they are base of our consciousness and behaviour.
Day 9
I started with reading the chapter about 7th chakra.
I don't know why but now I have actually really hard time to write what I was reading about. Hmm they are writing about some general informations, about dreaming big -> big dreams = big gravitation energy, about meditations and exercises...
Day 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Day 4 - missed. I've got lost in watching series, so didn't do much anything else.
Day 5 and 6 - I woke up with some ideas for my goals, did some thinking about it, used "5 why" method and got pretty interesting results
Day 7 - I've read 1 subhead and fell asleep. It was about rules how to recover oneself from old and new emotions and experiences.
Day 8 (today) - the book continued about how to deal with obstacles. There were quite a lot about it. How we have wishes, which are opposite and then no wonder they don't come true. After that there were some exercises about it.
If I do more today, I'll report about it tomorrow. There is still few more hours left and I wanted to catch up reporting from last days :D
Day 3
First I've read an article from LonerWolf about our spirit guides. Really interesting. At some point I was telling myself if that what I think is true is really true, if it's not only my imagination, but right with the next point I realized it isn't. Just watch the clouds. Sometimes answers are there.
Evening I was reading something about resistence - every chakra has it's own and the lower we go the stronger it is. Every chakra has it's own element like the atmosphere has (there were light, sound, air, fire, water, earth - maybe I forgot one on the top and maybe I messed order of the top ones. I'll correct it tomorrow.)
Day 2
Today I've read about how to realize my dream by going through chakras from top to bottom. Every chakra has a special role in it. A part of the chapter called "Being, Doing, Having" was interesting. They explained there what they wrote on the example with building a house.
What I can say at the end? Question, question, question everything. Going to chose one dream I want to work on. This will be hard. Sooo many options.
Day 1
We have here new Busy Learning challenge, yey! This time I'm going to focus on widening my information about... how to call it? Stuff about chakras and meditations and so. Let's start then =)
I'll be reading book Creating on Purpose - Anodea Judith & Lion Goodman. So I've already started with first chapter, which is an introduction to system of chakras - where are they, what are they doing, what are the problems if they don't work properly. I was reading something about dualities - there is possible the way from top down or other way, then something about how it all began - puruĹĄa and parkti are something like spirit and body. They described it more detailed.
I hope I got it right. Too tired now. Gn :)
shading colour tips
hey yall its me the Art Mom⢠to help you shade pretty
rule 1: DO NOT SHADE WITH BLACK. EVER. IT NEVER LOOKS GOOD.Â
red- shade with a slightly darker shade of purple
orange- slightly darker and more saturated shade of red
yellow- i think like..a peach could work but make it a really light peach
green- shade with darker and less saturated shade of blue or teal
blue- shade with purple
purple- a shade thats darker than the purple youâre using and maybe a little pink (MAYBE blue)
pink- darker shade of red
white- a really light lavender or blue..or i guess any really light colour??
black- okay listen dont use pure black to colour anything unless you want to leave it with flat colours because you cant really shade black lol
grey- a slightly darker shade of purple or blue (less saturated)
brown- slightly darker and less saturated shade of purple or red
aaaaand thats all i got lol. let me know if there is anything i should add to this list!!
If youâre a visual learnerâŚ
I made some Balls of Colour to go with Art Momâ˘âs post:
Iâm a visual learner. Very much so
Iâm sure someone has mentioned it on here but this is great if you arenât considering environment. Itâs sort of clinical in nature. A good tip if youâre looking for realism is to well, look at life. Most shadow from natural light will be cool compared to the base or the tint. If you shift all of your shadow colors to the cooler side of the spectrum, it will make your lighting pop.
Light also reflects things. Itâll reflect the colors of things onto other things, even if theyâre not super chrome or mega reflective. Study color but also study the material. Light and color behave in weird ways.
Day 5 - Japanese art: the formats of two-dimensional works
This one is hard, I'm going to need lot of help with original text. I recommend to read original. Let's start then. Two dimensional work has all kinds of different formats as: - printed books (ehon), - single or multi sheet prints (hanga), - paintings in the form of hanging scrolls (kakemono) and hand scrolls (emaki), - movable folding screens (byĹbu), - sliding door paintings (fusuma-e) - and smaller scale of fan paintings and album leaves.
Screens and sliding doors were made also for dividing rooms and were changed according to season.
Hanging scrolls were hanged in series of 2 or 3 in ceremonial alcoves or main hall of mansions and were also changed according to season or to honor special visitor. They were hanged to be seen from sitting position.
They were used first for buddhist paintings and calligraphy. Painting made from ink and colors were painted on silk or paper, backed with paper and with silk borders and with roller on the bottom. Scrolls were kept in specially made paulownia wooden boxes to protect them from dust, climate and insects.
One of most famous hanging scrolls is Tiger paining from Gan Ku (Edo period). Tiger paintings were popular in Japan, but because they have never seen a tiger before, artist had to imagine it from skins.
Day 4 - Shinto
Here we have video again. It's about Shinto religion - worshipping kami, which are spirits (with gods power). They believe it can take vessel as natural phenomena, human or inanimate object. Because of this sword making is connected to shinto (or I think so). This religion is old thousands of years and it's believed it will live further. There are lot of shinto shrines in all of japan. They are temporary residences for spirits represented by hidden object inside the inner shrine. On the way to shrines are tori, which are arch gates and these gates are separating normal world from sacred one. Before visiting shrine, people purify their hands and mouth with water from basin. On the shrine are bells with long ribbons, and people ring with it to catch attention of spirits. Every year people visit shrines to beg for fortune or health of a child. Festivals are made to entertain spirits and with shinto are as well connected all kinds of rituals. For purification is used water or fire.
Day 3 - Zen Buddhism
Aaalright this one was from video. It will be a bit harder to remember. This video was about monks from Kyoto teple (at Fukuji if I heard right) and their life. They are meditating to get into greater state of mind. They are doing chores with mindfulness even if it's routin work for other of people, they don't let their mind wander to futur or past. They are slapped from headmaster with wooden.. it was something like paddle.. not as punishment but to build awareness (..I think? It had something with meditations). They are using every bit of meal they have, not a drop is wasted. Later they go out begging for aims - people gave them food or money. Some priests are training as gardeners, painters or caligraphers.
