So, I am a Bi. I have a crush on a girl for 9 years. We used to interact with each other when we were in the same classroom. But when our classroom changed , we didn't talk or interacted from then. But this year, I bumped on her very often, like every day. We had a lot of eye contact. Wherever our eyes meet, it takes a long time to break eye contact. And I am the one who breaks the eyecontact. I often catch her staring at me. We dont talk, just stare at each other.

So my questions are:

1)Does she has a crush on me?

2) I have found her social media. Should I send her follow request, or should i not?

3) How can I approach her/be close to her?

i do think that if she doesn't have a full crush, she's definitely at least a little interested in you given the staring. there's a girl i know who has a huge crush on me right now, and the main thing that got me to notice it was the fact she would just stare at me all the time. i think that's a really good sign!! definitely worth pursuing something.

i do think you should send her a follow request! it'll definitely demonstrate to her that you've also noticed her, and that you're interested in getting to know her better. even better, if she posts on her instagram story, you can easily slide up and start a conversation! that's actually how i met a lot of my friends when the pandemic was going on.

in terms of approaching her, the best way to do that is genuinely to strike up a conversation. you say that you guys are now bumping into each other every day, and that's perfect! instead of just bumping into each other, you can strike up a conversation with her whenever you see her. that should be easy! and then, just let it all flow naturally :)

And there's another girl who i think likes me, girl B. We are really good friends and just understand each other. she's called me cute nicknames, knows i'm bi, and i'm pretty sure she likes me. But I don't like her back, and I feel really bad that she's kind of a second choice for me after girl A. What do I do?

I would absolutely say to go with your heart. I know that sucks, especially because you said that girl A likes someone else, but it just isn’t fair to girl B if you aren’t 100% into her. if you don’t like her back, which you don’t, please do not date her. it’s not fair to her.

My day has been well so far; my family and I are looking into fostering a dog during this quarantine time and I’ve been in charge of filling out all of the foster applications and handling it all, and since the entire world also wants to foster right now, we haven’t gotten a foster dog yet. 

I know it’s really good that so many dogs are getting homes, but I’m :( because we don’t have one yet.

Hey! First off, I totally love your blog! I'm having a bit of a problem tho. There's this amazing girl I've been talking to for a half a year. We've recently started texting each other hearts but I feel really bad. I'm not out to my parents and I'm struggling with it. And since I'm not out to them, I cant date this amazing girl (cuz i dont want to do the whole secret thing, itll probably get messy) I feel really bad and I dont want her to think I'm just playing with her feelings. I’m so sorry this has been so late; for being in quarantine, I’ve been pretty busy.

As always, communication is key. Explain to this girl that you really like her and you’d love to be in a relationship, but then explain that you aren’t out to your parents and that you don’t want to do a secret relationship because it’ll be complicated and it won’t be fair to her. See what she says. But make sure you make it known you’re NOT interested in a secret relationship. 

I hope all goes well. Also, make sure you tell her you don’t want her to think you’re leading her on. Because she might be thinking that.

How do I get over internalized homophobia?

i just answered an ask that asked a similar question, so i will try and paraphrase it here. 

the best way, i think, to get over internalized homophobia is to remind yourself, over and over again, that being gay is not wrong. internalized homophobia comes from being subjected to that mindset for an extended period of time, and thus resulting in you believing it yourself.

say “i’m gay” or “i’m a lesbian” in the mirror every morning. remind yourself that being gay is not wrong, or sinful, or gross-- it’s a beautiful thing. loving women as a woman is a beautiful thing. tell yourself that you cannot choose who you love, and that it isn’t “your fault”. above all, remind yourself that you deserve respect above all else. 

this will take some time. but if you keep telling yourself that being gay is okay, and loving women is okay, eventually, you will believe it.

So I've sent a lot of asks to people about my sexuality. After reading what I said, I clearly see that I'm gay. I can't come to terms with being lesbian. I have homophobic family, but a big group of people that'll fully support me. I keep like talking myself out of being gay to just keep saying I'm bi. I know that I could have kids with a female. I feel like it would be a disappointment to my family. I'm starting to feel like I have internalized homophobia. Why am I like this? How do I stop it?

i would definitely say that this is internalized homophobia. it makes sense, because if your family is homophobic, that mindset must’ve been engrained in your mind for your entire life, and that can wreck havoc regarding you accepting yourself.

now, as for how you stop it, i’m not entirely sure. i’ve personally never dealt with it, but i will try my best. i would say that the best way to get over internalized homophobia is to just remind yourself, over and over again, that being gay is not a bad thing. being a lesbian is not a bad thing. i know that the word “lesbian” has a very negative societal connotation, but you need to remind yourself that it is not a bad thing. it simply means that you are a woman who loves other women. and that’s a beautiful, beautiful thing. 

say it in the mirror. remind yourself when you wake up in the morning. write about it. watch wlw shows. listen to wlw songs. make it feel normal to you, and realize that being a lesbian is such a wonderful thing.

Trans women are women. 

Trans women can be lesbians or bisexual because women can be lesbians or bisexual, and since trans women are women, trans women can also be lesbians or bisexual.
