It was y/n at preschool today, it was a long time coming but it didnโt make it any easier on her because of how overwhelmed she can get.
Weโd had a movie night, and just a generally relaxing evening before she went to bed to try and help with this morning; now sheโs eating little waffles with blueberries and raspberries on the side since itโs her current obsession with a sippy cup of chocolate milk. She was content for the most part whilst I was packing her bag with spare clothes, pull ups, her comfort snacks and her comfort teddy Sammy the weighted seal. Her weighted seal always helps, she always struggled with being overwhelmed and overstimulated since she was a shy girl but it didnโt change anything I love y/nโs personality she just takes a minute to warm up to anyone she meets.
Sheโs a beautiful character, her personality was amazing she was cheeky but very shy but hilarious too.

โBubba, Iโm packing your bag for preschool remember - you start today and youโll see y/c/n tooโ I replied trying to sound excited knowing how she felt.
โI no want to dada pleaseโ tears lining her eyes she tries to get down putt of her highchair, I had to calm her before she had a meltdown.
โHey hey sweetheart, look at me find dadaโs eyes baby - come โere you can do itโ I whisper picking her up so she can snuggle into my chest knowing that calms her.
โNo want to dadaโ she whispers from my chest i barely could hear her she was that quiet.
โShh shh shh itโs okay sweetheart, itโs okay if you can do it, but I want you to try okay? Thatโs all I want you to do. Is try okay?โ I murmur trying to compromise with her.
โThatโs all dada wants, then we can watch lilo and stitch okay sweetheart and Iโll get uncle Scott to come over too and we can make cookies.โ I completely compromise once again since Iโve found with y/n slowly trying to get her to try then reward it works than just getting her to do it.
โLilo and sotty!โ She giggles โyeh I try dada, bubba gonna tryโ she finally agrees.
โYay!โ I chuckle with her and think of how proud I am of her for still trying.
Preschool happened but it didnโt go well but that was bound to happen but weโre not going to dwell on that Iโm proud of her for trying.
Scott came over after we picked her up together, we had chicken nachos for dinner as per y/nโs request, made cookies and watched all the Disney movies we could til y/n finally fell asleep because it was an exhausting, emotional day for her.
I apologise itโs so short Iโm just not feeling right today and Iโm just not with it :/ Iโm sorry guys :(. And Iโm sorry to the anon who requested probably expecting more than this.
