It is important to note that upsetting material of the extreme and the mundane will appear on this blog as Mr Woe is an evil wizard who turns people's skin inside out for #Science as well as a garden variety bigot raised by a long line of rich white sickos. While he might have realized that the systems of oppression can hurt him too he still thinks that saying "class solidarity" should be a punishable offense. So please take that into account because I'm not going to censor him all that much. I do encourage, however, showing him the consequences of his choices.

when i've got a bit more energy i plan to get on aurelius more but recently i've been in the unpleasant place that comes with writing an oc and feeling like what you're doing is a herculean effort no one asked for. i'm trying to combat that a bit by spending some time building up aspen but on the whole i'm just kind of like "oh yeah this is why i gave up on these years ago" and it's killing my ability to even look at my oc dashes.

aurelius has always been a fairly reserved person simply because he knows that even words have consequences but he was much more of a little shit when he was younger. he was very snide and cruel and stuck up at a teen and even as a young man he was truly an insufferable cunt.

it's only when narcissus dies and he becomes a father that he starts to become less outwardly miserable to be around, not that he got nicer per say but that he just kept more of his opinions to himself and gained a bit of patience. but as a younger man he was fair more impulsive and very insecure in ways that made him violent (see murdering caliban in their senior year)

The corners of his lips twitch in a brief flash of a smile before falling back into a grim line as usual. He continues to shuffle through his papers as if he had never reacted at all, making sure everything is in order as he always does before he leaves.

"Expediting my death doesn't hasten the inheritance of those not in the will." He looks up at Armand pointedly before returning to locking up his desk. "Besides I don't need to kill myself, it's already being handled for me, why add another thing to my list of things to do?"

He leaves his desk to join Armand in the center of his townhouse's office. He preferred his office at the castle but there were complaints about the quaintness of the area and he was nothing if not enough of an acceptable host to not make gossip.

His own mortality was something that Aurelius had no conflict with but even if he had no great need for immortality, he wasn't exactly jumping into the grave either. Still, Armand was... amusing.

How long? (months/years): since elementary school TECHNICALLY but like... intentionally with purpose? highschool roughly.

Best Experience: tumblr which is why i keep coming back and a discord group that the admin decided to randomly delete after some bts thing giving us all only a week to get our shit before they killed it which kind of tarnished everything but it was one of the few times i felt like i had a Groove.

MUSE PREFERENCES

Female or Male: none really. it's really more about personality types and what grips me about about a character, like themes, tropes potential etc.

Fluff, Angst, or Smut: I don't really go in for any one genre like that, i'm more interesting in trying to move a plot forward so the emotional tone is more dictated by the story.

Plots or Memes: i find memes good for starter prompts/a way to break the ice and get thoughts flowing but i really am trying to plot more across the board.

Long or Short Replies: both. i like to have a mix because while i do really enjoy longer form writing sometimes i just don't have the bandwidth for it and if i waited i could be waiting for weeks depending on how hectic life is.

Best time to write: during the day while the meds are strong but if i can get into a good groove night can work.

Are you like your muse(s): depends. some muses i've written i've been very similar to which was the appeal but usually i just pick characters i think are really interesting, i'm trying to do something with, or i like.
