I actually wasn’t actively mocking them. I reblogged the spongebob post and that was that. That’s the only part of mockery I’ve made of them. I reblogged that post and this blog sat here with only that post on it for... a few months at least (I may be wrong my sense of time is terrible but it was at least a month).

Everything else was just me reblogging the one receipt left of their truscum-ism, me calling them a truscum (which is, excuse the pun, tru), and a bit of drama from an apologist. So I mean not active mockery even though I said it was for that purpose.

Because, despite not every trans person feeling dysphoria, I’ve never once met a trans person who actually excused or liked truscum people. It’s a toxic mindset that harms those who don’t feel dysphoric and invalidates their gender identity because you just “have an opinion on dysphoria”.

And I mean you’re one to talk; you’re pretty rude too what with the mockery of “oh look at that another transgender on Tumblr offended water is wet”. You mocked trans people in their entirety! Of course we’re offended by people like you!

ok i was poking fun at some of the trans people here that get offended easily, yes. i obviously don’t mean all trans people are like that but i have seen a few of them here

also some of my trans friends are truscum. in fact, one of them explained why they are. now i’m paraphrasing this, but it was along the lines of protecting people from fucking up their bodies permanently due to hormone treatment. basically with your belief of “anyone can be trans”, someone who doesn’t feel like they are 100% man/woman, a feeling we all go through at some point, is going to say they’re trans and they could start treatment or get surgery done, then they’ll realize they don’t want that BUT THEY CAN’T UNFUCK THEIR BODY AND NOW WHAT DO THEY DO?

See that's the thing though. A lot of effort and thinking needs to go into the whole process. Some trans people don't transition for whatever reason (money issues, they just don't want to) while some do and those who do are normally well aware of the cons.

Again lots of thinking goes into it. It's not just a "oh I hate my boobs I'm gonna get them removed" and the next day be "oh I'm fiiiiine with them". It's actual thinking that goes into the surgery process. You have to plan as well as doctors telling you risks over and over you get it drilled into your head of the cons. Trust me I know.

As for fucking it up with hormones, if you slowly get off of the hormone treatment you'll be fine and eventually revert to how you were before. Again I know. I was on about one year of T and doing good until we figured out that I had to get off of it for serious health reasons (cysts on ovaries not fun). I had to take small doses of estrogen and various doses of progesterone and I HAVE slowly reverted back to a "female" (I mean that in the most sarcastic sense because I am not female in the slightest. It's the only way I can word it though).

So I mean you can't really fuck it up too badly. Between having all the cons drilled into your head from doctors and slowly reversing hormone effects, it's hard to "fuck up".
