My name is Maximilian Fraundorfer, communications design student at the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf, Germany. I was working the past months on and off for a project that combined my enthusiasm for 3D work and graphic design, with all the different steps involved: „WipEout Deceit“.
Unfortunately, „WipEout Deceit“ has never been a real game. But it served its purpose as a tribute the the WipEout Series. It was nice to read all that feedback online, positive and negative, and see how the community relates to a future WipEout game. I strongly hope I did not cause any bad feelings in the end, but rather show the desire for a new sequel to the series.
I want to thank Andy Whiteley for his initial ship design and give probs to the guys at WipEoutZone, who keep the the series alive even after Studio Liverpool has closed. Thanks also to those who admit what they’ve seen, no matter if they thought it was „the real thing“ or not, including this article which was really flattering.
