I miss when Pokemon Gym Badges had creative names and designs instead of just the same base design with just with the type's standard logo and being named after the type they correspond to.
My idea for what the Galar Gym Badges could have been called, derived from the goroawase readings of the Gym Leaders' uniform numbers:

For context, this was for a resume building website with templates and stuff but wouldn't lemme download the template I used without doing what I mentioned in the original post.
So I went ahead and recreated the whole template myself on a document from scratch.

I... actually have an answer for this!
Having worked with Netflix, the reason we were told to give out came in three parts. 1) was to limit people from abusing free trials, 2) it gives an alternative way to look up the account if there was a mistype in the email, and 3) for fraud.
But ultimately, the real reason is to lock people into paying for a subscription once the trial is over, especially since most people will forget that most free trials won't cancel themselves out. Its also the exact reason why some countries and provinces of Canada won't allow Netflix or other providers to offer free trials unless you can do so without payment information.
My question was mostly rhetorical because I am indeed aware of the real reason they do this. I was just fuming about it online here haha.
