HE’S HERE!!!!!!

Well. You know how life likes to throw curveballs at you? Meet Jack. He’s a Norwegian Lundehund puppy. I wasn’t going to get a dog for another few years. Life happens. Honestly when I reached out to one of the few breeders here in the USA (there’s only two listed on the NLAA website!!!), I expected there to be a waitlist, or even to be denied due to the rarity of the breed… but she said she turned a lot of people away, so she still had a puppy, and that I qualified to give him a good home based on my application.

Anyway, can’t wait to update y’all on Jack as he grows up! My soon to be little adventure, and perhaps sports buddy 💙

Got in contact with a Border Collie breeder about getting a Show Prospect Border Collie!!!! The Litter won’t be expected for another few years, but that works with my schedule perfectly. I’m so excited!!!!!!!!!

While I love my current dogs, they are too low energy. And I want to get back into the purebred world!!! Idk about Dobermans because the health issues have ripped my heart out (even though Wiggle was above and beyond normal health issues). But I am looking into Border Collies, years in the future, when one of our dogs passes. In the research phase right now.

I really want to get into showing Bulldogs in the future and maybe even being a breeder once I’m retired. I’m currently on track to becoming a vet tech. The biggest hurdle honestly is finding an ethical Bulldog breeder that’s not all the way across the country.

It turns out a certain someone is sneaky and is not a Catahoula at all like we were told! And no, we weren’t told that so she would be more expensive, the rescue probably just mislabeled her. Either way, she’s a good girl! Also ignore the name, her name is now Shadow.

And updates on her weight, she’s lost around 16 Lbs! 10 more to go!

Dottie and Bourbon get along really well. Jam is a loner and spends most of his days in the basement sleeping lol. Dottie is a good scentwork prospect, something I wanted to do with Wiggle but couldn’t because of her health issues. Dottie has to lose around 20 Lbs before we can start though. She’s very overweight.
