A sudden rainstorm crashes into Beacon Hills' Pride Art Festival, creating three very different love stories beneath the same storm.

Isaac & River: As a half-selkie, River thrives in the rain, feeling more alive than ever. While everyone else runs for cover, River embraces the downpour, and Isaac can't help but admire them. The rain leads to a passionate kiss and a reminder that Isaac loves every wild, beautiful part of who River is.

Derek & Stiles: Stiles spends the entire storm complaining about being soaked while Derek patiently deals with him in classic Hale fashion. Taking shelter beneath a tent, Derek reassures him with quiet affection, teasing, and subtle compliments until Stiles finally admits the rain isn't so bad, as long as Derek is beside him.

Peter, Chris & Noah: Peter strips off his shirt and treats the rainstorm like he's a dramatic weather god sent to bless Pride personally. While Chris is thoroughly exasperated and Noah endlessly amused, Peter flirts with strangers, makes shameless innuendos, and generally causes chaos. Beneath the teasing, however, is a genuine reminder of how much the three men love one another.

When the storm finally passes, a brilliant rainbow appears over the festival. The couples reunite with kisses, laughter, and affection. River and Isaac sharing a quiet moment, Derek and Stiles finding comfort in each other, and Peter, Chris, and Noah proving once again that their love is equal parts devotion, humor, and absolute chaos. Together they celebrate Pride beneath the rainbow, surrounded by friends, family, and the people they love most. 🌈❤️

So I definitely still have a ways to go, but today felt like a huge win.

Torrid is pretty much the only place I've found jeans that actually fit my body correctly. For the longest time, the only jeans that worked for me were the "Perfect Wide Leg Vintage Stretch" (12R) jeans. Then they discontinued them, and I went online and bought seven pair while they were on sale because I refused to lose the only jeans that fit. 😂

Well, today I decided to try on a pair of 12R Bombshell Wide Leg jeans, kinda expecting disappointment because of the lack of stretch, but they freaking fit!

I didn't need the extra stretch to get into them comfortably. They actually fit properly without relying on the stretch factor. I still have my thick thighs and upper legs, but that's okay. Progress is progress, and seeing that difference made me ridiculously happy.

Sometimes the scale isn't the only way to measure success. Today, it was a pair of jeans.

My June read is Little Women.

My bestie Stacie got me a gorgeous collection that includes Little Women, Little Men, and Jo's Boys. To be clear, I'm only reading Little Women right now, which is literally half the book. I may tackle the others later. 👀

I've tried reading Little Women several times over the years and never managed to get into it. It always seemed a little boring to me. 🫠🫣 I've never really been into the movie adaptations either.

That said, last year we watched a modern adaptation starring Lea Thompson, Sarah Davenport, and Ian Bohen. It was cute and surprisingly enjoyable, even if Jo still annoyed me. Which, honestly, has always been my main issue with the story.

So, we'll see how this goes. As usual, I'll post my review at the end of the month!

Over coffee in the Stilinski kitchen, a casual conversation about menswear spirals completely out of control when Peter Hale starts passionately defending Italian fashion, corset vests for men, and the tragedy of modern masculine clothing. Chris Argent is horrified, Noah Stilinski is trying not to laugh, and everyone else gets dragged into the debate as Peter relentlessly flirts, psychoanalyzes, and attempts to emotionally manipulate Chris into accepting he’d look incredible in tailored green. Between innuendos, emotional vulnerability, and Stiles being deeply weirded out by his dad’s throuple with Peter Hale, the morning somehow becomes less about fashion and more about learning to be seen.

Review: The Art of Contrary Thinking by Humphrey B. Neill

At its core, "The Art of Contrary Thinking" is about questioning popular opinion and not blindly following the crowd. The central idea is simple: when everyone thinks the same way, that's often exactly when you should pause, step back, and consider the opposite possibility. It's a mindset book more than anything else, rooted in skepticism and independent thinking.

What I appreciated most is how practical the concept is. You don't have to agree with everything or treat it like a rigid system. Instead, it works as a mental habit, learning to notice when consensus might actually be a warning sign rather than a guide. In a world where trends, opinions, and group thinking spread instantly, that idea still feels relevant.

That said, the book is very straightforward and sometimes repetitive. It doesn't offer deep analysis or modern examples, and parts of it did feel dated. It's more like a collection of principles and reminders than a structured argument. Because of that, it did feel a bit dry, could be considered a little difficult to read if you're expecting something more narrative or emotionally engaging.

Still, there's definitely value in its simplicity. It encourages you to slow down your thinking, resist easy answers, and challenge assumptions, even your own. That alone made it worth reading to me, especially if you're interested in thorough decision-making in today's world.

Overall, it's not a flashy or emotionally gripping book, but it delivers a solid and lasting idea: Don't trust the crowd just because it's the crowd.
