Smiling to the Latina, she slid her hands into her pockets. “I like it,” she replied. “It keeps me busy and puts money in my pocket. The plus is I get to see you.” She gave Santana a wink then. “Tonight is going to be interesting though. I’m up here for the night and we have some of the new guys on the floor. I hope I don’t have to go break up fights.”

There was no denying that they were flirting and maybe that’s why everyone kept Quinn so busy, her father probably put them up to it. Having Quinn be sectioned off in the booth with them though means that her father had come to trust the blonde. “I’m guessing you impress papi with your work and yes tonight will be interesting, these kind of people throw the best kind of parties.”

The blonde raised her eyebrows with a laugh. “You act like you don’t have my attention normally,” she commented softly. “You do. It just so happens that I have to go deal with assholes sometimes.” She shrugged some. Quinn stayed standing though as she watched Santana. She hadn’t entirely figured the woman out though she was highly attracted to her. But Quinn also knew if it came out that she was a fallen, she’d be shunned from this group even if she was protecting the place.

Upon hearing that she did have Quinn’s attention the latina perked up, her wolf basically wagging it’s tail in joy. “Well they do have you running around a lot but good to know.” She said, smiling. The wolf had no clue who or what Quinn was, she could tell she wasn’t human but she couldn’t pick out what her species was. Her father had her memorizing them all from the age of 5, the blonde was a complete mystery. “How are you liking your job here so far?”

Quinn eyed Santana on the couch before arching her brow. “How’s this perfect?” She asked as she approached the Latina. Leaning against the armrest of the couch, she watched her. “Also… where is Puck? Aren’t you two usually together for these things?” She gave her a little smile as she stood there.

“I’ve got your full and undivided attention tonight.” The latina replied with a smirk. “He went to get us drinks though I assume he’s taking forever because he found someone to flirt with.” She explained with an eye roll.

Protection

Quinn accepted a call from the boss, hearing he needing protection in a box at an event. The blonde accepted though she didn’t know who all she’d be protecting. It felt odd simply because she was working a night shift. She needed to patrol the place, but apparently that had to be put on hold. Quinn donned her equipment and headed down to the club. Walking in, she waved at a few people and headed up to the box. She paused as she saw Santana there and furrowed her brows some. “So I guess I’m your protection for the night,” she stated. “The boss asked me to protect the box.”

Santana stood at her table, making sure her gear was synced up. She’d been informed that today was a big night, a young member of the fae court wanted to celebrate their 100th birthday at the club and requested her and Puck specifically for the event. Due to the impending high traffic her father had requested extra muscle in the club for their protection, there would actually be one in the box with her and Puck. Once her playlist was all set the latina slid off her headphones and made her way to the couch, unaware that someone was on her way up the booth. “I guess so.” Santana replied, brow arched in interest. “That’s perfect then.”
