Fairly sure most of the IT fandom's dead as Eds now but oh well
Eddie: *Has a sad thought*
Richie: *Bolts up in bed in the middle of the night in a cold sweat* Something’s wrong.

the worlds shittiest game of where’s waldo, but instead of waldo.... it’s a murder clown
richie: ben told me that instead of being sad, I should “go get it, girl” so i’m going to go get it, girl
beverly: get what?
richie: unclear. i’ll get everything, just to be safe
apparently Fangoria has an awards thing for horror films (called the Chainsaw Awards) and It Chapter Two is nominated a few times so uh let's go clowns?? let's all just vote and get Bill Hader at least one award this season lol
bruh this is sick, go the clowns, get them awards
clowns, actually
Stan with bird.
Eddie is trying to learn biology but Richie annoys him because he wants attention.
Unbearable boyfriends.
it chapter 2 (2019) // it, stephen king (1986)
I love how disastrous the Losers are in Chapter Two.
In the book, Bill’s bald, Ben’s an alcoholic, Eddie’s losing his hair, etc. But they’re pretty sensible.
In the film, they’re so attractive that they have to make up for it by being absolute morons, and honestly I live for it.
Bill screaming at a kid in the street, getting hit by a car, swearing at an old man, tripping over everything? Yes, please.
Richie throwing up every hour on the hour, doing a Pennywise impression to scare his friends, threatening a child? Yep, yep.
Beverly just straight up screaming all the time, still not realising that Ben wrote her the poem, calling an interdimensional shapeshifting being a bully? It’s more likely than you think.
Mike stealing from Native Americans, drugging his best friend, lying the whole time? Bless.
Ben thinking he could get Richie to stay, falling through the ceiling of the clubhouse, keeping a page of his yearbook for 27 years despite not knowing who Beverly was? I mean–
Eddie calling his wife “Mommy”, crashing his car, getting drunk and immediately suggesting he and Richie should “take our shirts off and kiss”, running into balloons, calling a child an asshole, pushing a pull door, getting stabbed and laughing? Prime disaster boy, I love him.
Stan is the only well-adjusted adult. He was too powerful - he even knew he was in a movie! - and that’s why he couldn’t come back to Derry. And honestly, had he known they just had to roast ol’ Penny to death, Stan “Kookie kookie” Uris, Stan “I think that must have been my father” Uris, Stan “It’s really breaking my heart to give up those four pence” Uris could have done it single-handedly.
Imagine if after Mike called Richie, the first person Richie remembered was Stan, his best friend, the only person in Derry that really understood him. The only person that could talk Richie down and make him see how ridiculous he was being.
So before hanging up, Richie asks Mike to send him Stan's number. And Richie debates calling for a while but then he thinks, fuck it, can't be worse than whatever is is Derry.
And just as Stan is getting his bath ready, his phone rings. And he hesitates to answer another unknown number. But, why not. It's not going to matter tomorrow, he thinks.
And its Richie. All he hears is a quiet: Stan? Is that you? And when Stan asks who it is, Richie just breaks down and Stan feels obligate to talk to him. But slowly, he starts to remember Richie.
Next thing Stan knows it's been hours. Patty's knocking on the door, asking if he's alright. He never takes baths at that time. And Stan thinks, I can't leave her. And I definitely can't let Richie go back to Derry alone. He's going to have at least 7 meltdowns.
And when he finally says goodbye to Richie he says he'll see him soon. And he means it. And when he shows up at the restaurant, Richie nearly tackles him to the ground outside because he never actually thought Stan would show up.
Then it's Stan that saves Eddie. He's close enough when It goes to kill him he can stop it. And when they defeat it and get out, Richie immediately gives Stan a hug trying not to cry. Stan just says: so are you finally going to tell Eddie about your juvenile vandalism or do we have to deal with your pinning again?
