I have no idea if someone's already asked this before (and if they did I'm sorry lol) but how'd you get better at anatomy? I love the way you draw!

don’t be sorry! i love answering anything even if there’s some repeats

i used to be so buns at anatomy bro like it was EMBARRASSING. the main reason why i was so terrible for so long was because i refused to actually study it. all i wanted to do was fuck around and draw my OCs all day 😭 which is fine, but my art literally stayed stagnant for years. so here’s a basic list of what i suggest:

- use references

- dedicate time to anatomy studies (both full body and isolated parts like hands for example)

- figure drawing

- live drawing

- blind contour figure drawing (improves observational skills)

of course there’s much more you can do, but again these are just the basics.
