Heyy, I LOVE your htdc art, especially the one with Mike, Will, & Maggie together, I did multiple mini prints of it and have it everywhere with me now. It’s exactly how I envision Mike in the story, he has this pained expression that he seems to be trying to hide just like in the fic, and all the early internet pics on it plus the entire esthetic is what inspired me to read htdc and now I'm obsessed.

I was wondering if you ever got back to that Maggie drawing? I don't want to pressure you at all 😅 I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to try again after procreate deleted the file when you were nearly done, I would have crashed out 😵‍💫

yeah, i’m actually like 90% done i’ve just had a lot on my plate recently and sometimes i get pissed off just looking at it 💀 even without the procreate incident it’s already a decently challenging drawing. but yeah when it got deleted that was lowk the biggest art crashout of my entire life like it was BAD

In short: Mike dropped out of college because he is a depressed mess and had to go back home. Now he works in a local grocery store and feels like he failed at life. Will finished studying but he doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life now. He misses home and goes back to Hawkins to figure out what he wants to do next. They spend the whole summer together after not seeing each other for a long time, gay stuff ensues, ok thank you byeeee
